Can't deactivate defensive weapons!! (White Giant)

im getting sick of getting the message - "Sorry, your defense is too weak. You cannot deactivate defensive arms since this would leave your country almost undefended" but i have THOUSANDS of defensive weapons there costing to much and i need to deactivate them.

But it won't let me??

Just Sell them instead. You can always buy them back when necessary. Problem solved.

If you do not need any defense become a peaceful player and you can deactivate all the weapons.

Peter, if you'd like to be a full econ setup country, what I did was purchased enough Missile Interceptor Defense Bats, to remove all of my defensive forts by destroying them, then selling the MIB's back out of the country

As Andy Said yes, you can deactivate them, but well, they still charge agaisnt your military spending for having them deactivated, otherwise, I wouldnt be having to insert 10T a month for my war main.
considering most are deactivated.

you can deactivate everything once your country is in secured mode.

the cost continues but it is much lower and the number of soldiers and officers declines to much lower levels.

As advised here, the way to avoid the cost is to sell the weapons.
ammunition does not have any maintenance cost.

we plan to allow deactivation to go further than now. The numbers of weapons in units declined and a smaller number of units/weapons should be used as a low limit for deactivation.

Andy, one cannot deactivate everything in defence in secured mode, whether peaceful or not.

That's why I just bought a bunch of MIB's in my main on LU...destroyed my forts while my Defensive index was up, then, sold/destroyed whatever was left ;)
