I've recently been hit with this issue:-

https://sim01.simcountry.com/cgi-bin/cgi2nova?SN_ADDRESS=wwwCountry&SN_METHOD=w3graph&miTable=tldhist&miKey=156&miColumn=vTradeSurplus

That's the shortage on KB.

Why has my corp ALWAYS been operating on a loss? I mean, i should be making SOME profit even if it marginal, when there's a demand for it.

I mean, it makes no sense to me, i've got about 10 corps in total doing this. Now i wonder, should i reduce quality from 160 to 140? 130? maybe i'll make a profit then? I don't know, it's rather annoying seeing as i'm just injecting money into a black hole.

If i reduce the sale price, i fear i'll make an even bigger loss. Any help from senior players would be nice, or a GM.

Check the profit/income box. Copy and paste it from the corporation page.

There has until recently been a surplus of these products on KB. I have recently closed 15-20 corps that were losing 50B/year; this should help the supply surplus problem. Strange, because I have been buying upgrades by the multi-dozen and the supply kept increasing faster than I could snap em up. There should be a rise in price and profitability now that I have cut down on the supply.
