Yes you will also gain a ton of debt from shortages. After a country goes so far into debt, it actually stops ordering country products and they go into red until about 16 - 18T worth. If you conquer a country and don't strip it very quickly, you'll end up paying for all those shortages as well.
If you planned on Raiding for pop, those days are long gone.
Ok thanks but what happens if you win the war and decide to just end it, does the other player keep the country or does it become a C3. I'm wondering because some player declared war on me and I'm trying to decide what to do if I win.
