It appears as though Simcountry is growing again.

1,000 more countries occupied in recent times and extra billion people between the worlds.

Markets are doing well and even FB's markets are improving.

Let's get rich!

Even so, there are only 10 active threads in the forum today. Those new players need to be integrated in the community.

If you see one active, send him a message... about anything.

Agreed Laguna. Foster the young ones ;)

New and old Feds I think have a role to play in this. If we want to keep people around they need to be integrated into the community. Recruitment is a method of doing so.

Also, it would be a good idea if the GMs sent an automatic message to new players (if they don't already) saying to join the forum and ask questions, find a fed. It would help retention rates tons.

I think the GMs should just leave us alone for a couple months before they change anything else if they feel the need. Every thing they do effects everything. Mostly bad for us, but things calm down in a few days. With all the constant changes nothing gets to even out and no one can get adjusted. It can be a real pain and especialy confusing to the "Young ones"

Words of wisdom.

I had not thought about it until now. But then it dawned on me. Apart from some spam bots making accounts and stuff, the delay on forum access and especially chat in particular has to go.

If players register to the game, why should they have to wait to chat? I know the spam-bot thing is a real pain in the arse. I gave up on my forum because of exactly that. But a bot that registers a new account cannot spam chat for example. And if it could it would be a really special bot in any case and I'd like to talk to it anyway.

10 active threads is proly because players can't post or chat for 48 hours and they forget or just get discouraged. Also the new 14 day thingy isn't working out too well either. Not sure if you all noticed that. Not to worry, after your first corp implodes it will be less than 14 days before you know which settings not to use :s

deal GM?

And another thing. Make logging into chat mandatory while logged into your countries. In fact, I'd like to see it integrated into both the new and old country screens so if a player needs help or gets curious all he needs to do is chat. No clicking to open or close it. No looking for or setting up clients. Just play and chat on an integrated chat screen on any country or ceo page. All these players here, including free players, it is kind of unfathomable that chat is dead. We at least have a newly dedicated moderator, so why not?

Good idea. Like a facebook chat in the corner of the screen.
