Just went on my account today, and noticed weapons I have (THAT YOU CAN'T EVEN BUY ON THE WORLD MARKET) have been up for sale! - I was furious and this would put me off playing the game.

This is totally unacceptable, and this is gone to far the GM has basically control of simcountry countries.

I demand this To be stopped and it is unfair and not the wishes of many countries. They managed to sell some stuff, luckily I cancelled the rest.

Stay out of debt and problem is solved.
Its does however seem at bit harsh that spacetrade-limit products are offered to market, that ought to be last the option when countries are near default.

I only just ran out of cash, a overall small amount. But I was just disgusted to see they put weapons for sale. This should be the PLAYERS decision!!! And there should be an option to get rid of it

I for one - 1 to all the updates the GM has Shown, without member consultation first. Especially regarding this outrageous attempt to boost simcountry assets by getting countries to sell stock they may want to keep and are hard to even buy or get.

The GM has got too obsessed with Its dictatorial power over simcountry countries, and is now using it to virtually control countries.

This is totally unacceptable, members get very little say nowadays. They feed all these updates to us, but sometimes there not even helpful and most of the time there actually unacceptable, basically like this idiotic idea.

I as a member, want options on this issue.

Also I couldn't believe I saw this bit - "After using this feature for some time, we may decide that it helps these countries or if it does not, declare them bankrupt and removed them from the empire. As with all bankruptcies, other countries in the empire will inherit all cash of these countries and all loans too."

This just shows the GM has control over countries, it's just ridiclious

We announced this before and explained that it will be done when the country is in fact bankrupt and this is the last effort to save it from bankruptcy.

-15 Trillions in debt and -1.6 Trillion in cash.
how did it get that bad while we add a lot of cash to new countries.

The country is bankrupted.

I suggest you cancel and start a new one with no debt at all and with what you learned, you could do much better.

It did not cost you a penny so far and a new account (or country) seems like a good deal.

All I want is basic talks with the GM, and maybe an option to turn off this feature in the settings?? Im not really in debt either.

I don't believe it's fair, to give away products without the players permission or recognition (if they don't check the world trade page) - and this could work easier if you Atleast notified the player and gave him an option to sell the stock or not OR sell a much decreased amount of it.

It's not right to interfere with countries internal affairs, UNLESS they request help.

I want somebody from GM HQ to reply with ways to stop this for players who don't want it or never will.

My country maybe in a bit of a mess, but players must sort out their economic problems themselves. Get out of a deficit for starters.

And slowly pay down debt or Atleast stablize the debt.

Infact I would be willing to come to a deal here, you can sell all other products except weapons and all types of ammunition and weapons. It's not right to sell stuff people wanted and wanted to keep.

I'm willing to come to a deal that may be acceptable for both sides of this issue.

How about weapons can no longer be sold automatically or ammunition of any kind of weapons, all other products can.

The reason I made this offer is because it's unfair to sell something that people bought and they may want it and need to keep it.

Weapons have got increasingly hard to buy, because most have gone off world market.

And people who buy stuff through enterprises, should NOT have their weapons sold.

This deal is acceptable and it should be taken into account, people should have the security of buying weapons and not having them sold automatically without permission and sometimes recognition.

Peter, military is not a critical thing to own, unlike all the other products you have and propose selling first. What are you? N.Korean?

Having the military in the first place is probably what is driving your country into bankruptcy, I've seen it loads of times with newer players. In your case (not all maybe) it seems like the game interventions are doing exactly what they should. They are doing you a favour. Sort your economy to be very profitable before you go building armies.

I don't have hardly any weapons to be honest, but I would like to keep the ones I have.

I'm sorting out my economy slowly unfortunately, but I want more options to give the player the choice about automatic selling of their products they bought.

The country is in deep debt (15.01 Trillions)
It has monthly losses of 10B
We used to bankrupt countries much earlier in the past but now we give them a chance to sort thing out.
Simcountry allows players to freely take care of their countries.
They can become rich (many are) and they can bankrupt and the country is lost.
Playing without gold coins (you have some), you can better start a new country or if you don't want to, eliminate the army, sell the rest of the weapons and ammunition yourself, build an economy, pay your debt and then, with money in the bank, build an army.

By the way:

the entire function is of course part of the simulation.
there are no manual actions, or choices per country to sell this or that.

it is all automatic and follows careful rules that are far from being trigger happy and are triggered if the player fails to get his country out of this situation.

But what is it for your benefit if I get out of debt? There seems to be a lot of these updates lately relating to these economic improvements.

I stil fail to see why you overall care or how does it benefit you?

These updates seem to be like "sanctions" if you don't do something in a certain time. I can only guess these updates/sanctions will only add to the simcountry assets, which I know is very cared for and loved.

But I do appreciate the GM's taking some action Atleast that may be of some help, the last couple of updates have been overall helpful and may be of use to players.

Bu I just don't want sanction-like updates being imposed on countries for not trying hard enough

I will recheck that it happens when you have a lot of loans only.

negative cash of -1T or worse and loans at max or close to max.
If loans are not at max amount, your negative cash is always resolved with a loan.

These countries are in fact dead. The cash is negative and they do not have any money to order anything and deteriorate.
In addition to the debt and negative cash, we can also see negative amounts of products.

so you have these countries, not logged into because of negative cash, sitting on -18T or so + -20T in products for the total of -450Gcs.
There is no reason to let them stay in that condition, and certainly not if the have 100T in weapons and ammunition.

Now we already see some them climbing back.

But how does it benefit simcountry as a whole? If a country removes its debt.

There must be a reason for simcountry GM's trying hard to get players to get rid of their debt, these updates are starting to turn into sanctions also if they don't try hard enough.

It's not that fair really.

Are the GM's not just mimicking the real world? We see in the real world real countries being taken over and their assets sold to remove their debt burden from de-stabilizing the world economy.
May-be the GM is trying to teach us to be responsible about debt in game, in the hope that it changes our attitude to debt in the real world? lol

I was lucky. I managed to get all my ConMB's, CruMB's and Strat Bombers out of my countries that have crossed the debt thresh hold :)
