As mentioned in another post, the gamemaster has taken themselves out of the gold coins market. This is the one thing i think can be the downfall, i mean look, we use gold coins to buy war protection which is 6 coins a day or maybe even more. Not to mention the 30 coins needed every single month to extend enterprises and such. Without a steady supply of gold coins, i dont see how anyone can keep there selves in war protection, ya kno tha people that only play for the economics side of the game, and i dont see how we can continue extending enterprises. If nothing else, at least make it where we can use game money to etend war protections and extending empires. War protection is completely too expensive but with no gold coins, its impossible. I dont see myself paying very much of my real money just to buy coins to keep my enterprises running or countries in war rpotection. I know you guys are busy, running the game and all, but you seriously need to reconsider this or at least, CREATE A WAY TO BUY WAR PROTECTION AND EXTEND ENTERPRISES WITH THE SAME AMMOUNT OF GAME MONEY EQUAL TO WHAT WE WOULD SPEND ON GOLD COINS. If not were going to have to re set up defences and even then it may not be worth it with all of the things that are going to even continue playing the game. Seriously if there was competition out there from another game, i think alot of people would be turning away right now. Im just tryna help keep bussiness and take this game unto new levels of popularity instead of loosing players and eventually folding. |

Another problem is with all the vets leaving, its making it much harder to get CEO'S. Say what you will, it seems the players have spoken and are not happy with these changes. bussiness will suffer, and so will the game in general in more ways than one. Even now im running out of population due to CEO building, but i cannot buy any coins or population in order to build back up. Which will lead to me either having to close corps or force ceo's out of my countries if thats even possible. I cant supply the workers my countries need. So what are we supposed to do, when theres no one offering coins because they need them thereselves. Only option is to block ceos and hope the population grows slowly over time to add the likes of even ONE corp without harming the reserves needed. I ahve 66,000 med level workers in a country with 70 million people for god sakes! The only option is to reconsider getting involved in the gold coins market, or to make it where GAME MONEY CAN::
BUY POPULATION
BUY WAR PROTECTION
EXTEND ENTERPRISES
AND MAYBE EVEN BUY BOOSTERS
Without it, im going to have tons of work to do these next few days just to re set up defences to protect my countries. Then we have the other problems to worry about. Like extending my enterprises when June rolls around |

The decision to back out of the gold coin market is by far ONE of the worst decisions the GM has made to date.
There is NO good reason for this. This policy is not player friendly, not convenient, and as the above post indicates, it makes it hard to make quick decisions and not be able to buy gold coins on the spot.

I can honestly say if this goes into place, i will be forced to sale or abandon my empire and enterprises, thus loosing another long time player. Im not making empty threats and im not tryna make the GM's look evil or dumb, but the thing is, we need gold coins. If not, then we need to be able to use Game money in place of the coins since its easy to get all the game money we need by being profitable. If the gamemasters are trying to impose a real currency such as the gold in real life, then they should also make a certain ammount of coins, then leave it at that. Thus limiting how many coins are availible, but when you spend a coin for a booster, instead of it going to the game master, it should go to the security council's, which will give them more power instead of game masters playing god of the universe. I mean it seems like if i buy war protection, it would be the security council that enforces this anyway, not God. So the coins would go to the security council for re-distribution. |

Andy, nice of you to ridicule him for being a free player. Now reply to the real reason behind the thread- no more GMs providing GCs. A choice every paying member is right now critising. For once, be the bigger man and answer/solve this problem with 100% clarity and honesty.

Technically, if the rules are that multi's are forbidden, my cousin controls this account. Hes a different player ( not me ) that i introduced to the game and he uses my computer sometimes. And i log in to his account to teach him, not to my own advantage but to both of ours. Were two different players in the same family. |

Hey guy,
We have been making a lot of money by sitting around, complaining, not taking any risk.
nobody fights because it costs money and everybody wants to make money.
Now that that they changed the numbers and profits are down, there were messages here saying "this country should have this profit" and that enterprise should have that profit.
why is it? what is left of this game. sitting around and making money?
You described in details why the gold coins are needed so we can all play for free for ever and never need to purchase anything.
You are very smart indeed.
The introduction of gold coins exchange was an error when they brought it in. a very stupid error.
They should never bring it back and I advise them to:
- Kill the other part of the exchange. If anyone wants gold coins he should buy them.
- Kill the virtual assets exchange. It is not in the interest of W3creative.
- Add a feature or two that will give gold coins to players who win big wars between players if these wars are real.
- Add a feature that will earn gold coins, for peaceful players who achieve something big. Add some big things to achieve.
- Start making money as a company because no one is going to keep financing this game and company for ever if it does not produce enough revenue
And for our players community I would say:
Start playing if you want to make money. take risks and fight some wars to earn gold coins.
I am here from the start. I am probably the oldest player and I was communicating to Jozi by mail from time to time.
I mailed him yesterday and gave him my opinion on this decision that must be his:
Don't ever bring back the free money to Simcountry and never exchange any money any more into gold coins. |

I believe I was one of the players miffed at the GM dumping cheap GCs on the market a year ago, because I saw my profits in the form of GCs, evaporating into nothingness. I am all for the free market, then as now, which is why I am the first to offer to buy GCs thru VA. This will work; the price of GCs will only go about so high, until it is cheaper to buy with plastic. Actually, I'd like to see boosters and population able to be bought with game money, as that would solve a lot of it right there. |

maclean i agree with you, population and boosters should be bought with game money and not gold coins, it seems to me that gold coins are the problem. The solution is simple of how to solve everything. Everything will be based on in game cash instead of gold coins. With in game cash only the GM will not be at fualt of inflation becuase the GM will not be reintroducing new cash into game play also direct trading will be based on game cash also. |
