We, the paying members of his game, are your customers W3C.

Customer service at this point bites (can I say that without being banned?).

The issue of the shortage of gold coins is not going away.

REVERSE this horrible decision to not offer gold coins.

Hey guy,

We have been making a lot of money by sitting around, complaining, not taking any risk.
nobody fights because it costs money and everybody wants to make money.

Now that that they changed the numbers and profits are down, there were messages here saying "this country should have this profit" and that enterprise should have that profit.
why is it? what is left of this game. sitting around and making money?
You described in details why the gold coins are needed so we can all play for free for ever and never need to purchase anything.
You are very smart indeed.

The introduction of gold coins exchange was an error when they brought it in. a very stupid error.

They should never bring it back and I advise them to:
- Kill the other part of the exchange. If anyone wants gold coins he should buy them.
- Kill the virtual assets exchange. It is not in the interest of W3creative.
- Add a feature or two that will give gold coins to players who win big wars between players if these wars are real.
- Add a feature that will earn gold coins, for peaceful players who achieve something big. Add some big things to achieve.
- Start making money as a company because no one is going to keep financing this game and company for ever if it does not produce enough revenue

And for our players community I would say:
Start playing if you want to make money. take risks and fight some wars to earn gold coins.

I am here from the start. I am probably the oldest player and I was communicating to Jozi by mail from time to time.

I mailed him yesterday and gave him my opinion on this decision that must be his:
Don't ever bring back the free money to Simcountry and never exchange any money any more into gold coins.

"You described in details why the gold coins are needed so we can all play for free for ever and never need to purchase anything."

Show me where I said that?? You have me mixed up with someone else.

Romeo, I don't know who you were referring to as 'you are very smart indeed'. You are way out of line if you are referring to me. The perceived personal attack was uncalled for IMO.

You have no idea what type of risks I take, nor how many gold coins I purchase with US $$.

I respect your proposal, and it has some merit. I have no arguments against spending the game money I earn through my countries/CEO's to buy population and other necessities with. But just about everything is predicated on using gold coins for these things, plus the 30 GC's a month for CEO's, etc.

Nobody is asking for 'free money'. My hard work through my countries and CEO's made the game money that I have, and if the game is going to use GC's to buy just about everything, then we ought to be able to buy GC's from the game with our game money.

I am sorry, this was a reference to a differently worded text by Jo.

most staff can be bought for game money. weapons and ammunition too, that will allow you to conquer a country and win gold coins.

Other things, you need to pay for. nobody should think that you can pay your way through everything with what you earn in the game.
This was an error and they now partially fixed it.
they should get rid of more of these so called features that made people believe that they do not have to pay at all once they earn trillions in their countries and enterprises.
We must agree to disagree. but it looks like this decision was taken by Jozi. An engineer could not decide on this and I presume these are also their investors behind it.

Thank you for the response Romeo.

Yes, we will have to agree to disagree.

....and just like many other decisions that are made by various GM's, there are consequences, both intentional and unintentional.

The unintentional consequences in the gold coin decision will be monumental in the loss of paying players.

or do you mean premium members who used to earn so many gold coins they never needed to pay for anything.
I hope they have many premium members every month who are willing to support them and who will not be lead to believe that everything is for free.
Otherwise I am afraid it will be curtains for Simcountry.

Every time there is a serious change to the game we get these messages about people who would leave the game. Most times there is also the accompanying prediction that the game will then be gone.
This was said at least 100 times before and the fact is that we are here and with us many players who are here for some years and old players who left us, sometime with similar messages and came back. There are many who keep supporting us and keep contributing to the game.

Romeo
No curtains for Simcountry. You know better.
also,
although I am aware of your long time support for us, and I am aware of your age, we consider the placement of the same message many times to be unacceptable. Please don't spam the forum.
