To prevent a single player from occupying all the visible slots on the gold coin trading page, we will allow one transaction per player.
The change will take place next week.

There are no limits to the size of the transactions.

The GM does not participate in any gold coin transactions.

You suggest that we are doing it now while you know better.

I checked the date. It was April 16. (11 days ago).
Last transaction (another player) was April 19.
we were in the market both ways and played market maker.
now we are not.

Don't do this again.
The answer to the next question is YES.

Andy, clearly, you all are taking full advantage of you're abilities as GM's with this...it's sad really. I know you're countries and there is no way no how, you could possibly have enough on hand Direct Trading cash or coins..unless of course what I think is happening...you all are claiming all of the ' inactive ' players for x amount of days past a months countries and claiming them as you're assets..considering..we cant find hardly any before they just..disappear.. I dont know whats going on with SC. but I'm sick of it. Ive just gotten to the point of, seriously..why bother changing anything in my countries or ceo's if you're just gonna say "oh no we've removed this feature now" or "we reversed this or slowed this down after a huge effect on this"...I do remember the days when game updates were things people looked forward too..not dreaded... I hope we can get in touch and get some things clarified as far as player complaints, etc. feel free to MSN me or email me. Talk with you guys soon..

Sincerely,

Wild

The Magic coin fairy and cash fairy I wish they'd head my way instead of the crazy supply fairy..lol it's becoming a force to be reckoned with >:( :P

Hopefully we can get some communication soon..IDC about the coin transactions, i just worry with all the messages and posts about this, Id happily moderate another ' jozi ' chat or something if needed.

And yes Andy, the date you stated are correct, and do not effect the direct DT market change. I asked him myself, and he sent the copy and paste..

Sorry andy, didn't mean to err, throw stones before details were known.

I hear by dub thee ' Andy lord of gods ' or something along those lines. lol as if i had a crown and a stick to do that? That'd be pretty awesome just introduce like ' god ' as a weapon. i'd support that notion.

simcountry will keep changing and it is not what it was several years ago.
There were always complaints when we made such changes.
The previous shock was when interest rates were so high, some players were sitting there making money with no need for any corporations at all.

Now, there were successful countries and enterprises and some argued that their enterprise "Should make a trillion per game month" or 6T per day. May be they meant 6.000.
Just sit tight and the money will come your way.

Many more changes and new features are underway that will make it more of a challenge with no guarantee for becoming rich by sitting on your assets.

As with previous changes, some hate them so much, they leave and some come back later.
we also see many new players. There are players who are here many years which is excellent and we love it but we can also understand when someone becomes sick of it.

Judging by the numbers and messages we receive, we should continue the development of the game and keep changing it and introduce new challenges.

That accusation was false and was meant to make people believe in a lie.
he knew the date and he knew it is a false accusation.

We take such events very seriously.

Andy, i'm not trying to start anything just trying to mediate. The fact you bought up coins right before the feature was cut off, may cause alot of issues with players, especially older generation players. i dont care either way...but the overall effect of this could be bad...but I wouldnt take it as a threat andy. Redman is a good player, and very talented at the game, as he told me he's not going to let it bother him, so redman quit posting and adding to this. fighting a forum war with a GM will only end one way. you lose. lol Andy, i dont think he meant it as a threat, nor checked the dates before posting, and wasn't mean't to get you heated.

Sorry, but I too dont appreciate Redman misleading me. I honestly thought he had genuine proof.

Shame, I like Redman to talk to in chat and he does seem a very good player, but his cred with me has just taken a hit.

Redman,

The GM was making many gold coins transactions on the direct trading for gold coins each month up to the decision by the company to remove itself from that market.

Suggesting that the GM was making such transactions while that specific transaction was 11 days ago and before that decision, is false.

I don't think it should have been placed.
It was made to discredit the GM.

You may be a great player and many here probably like your contributions on the forum, but it was unfair.

"Judging by the numbers and messages we receive, we SHOULD CONTINUE the development of the game AND KEEP CHANGING IT and introduce new challenges."(capitals mine)
I'm not sure how to say this without being banned, but I'll try: Will someone please tell me where are the players who keep agitating for changes? There must be dozens, or even hundreds, somewhere that I don't know about, because I have never seen any in the forum except for the same 2 or 3 that keep wanting cops and terrorists. What I do see are dozens of pleas by (mostly) paying and/or longtime players to NOT keep changing the game; I am not entirely clear as to how that translates to a message of "Keep changing the game, please". Possibly I am getting senile and don't get it. Well, as Mark Antony said at his speech over Caesar, these are honorable men, and every word and deed shows it so; honorable men, all. (paraphrased)
I enjoy this game, as long as I am playing the game, and not being played.I am not vindictive, just disappointed. A few of the changes were beneficial; For example, the raising of enterprise corp numbers to 15 in a player's own country. I said so at the time. This whole gold coin debacle is not, it seems to me.
