New player 'gifts"

I thought a new player was to receive 'free gifts' up to 2x per day on log in? I'm not seeing any pop up windows since getting a premium membership (day 1 - pop up windows. Day 2 - interested enough to become premium - no pop ups.) Did I shoot myself in the foot by going premium too early? Or is it a random timing, etc? (To clarify - still getting pop ups like "buy more interceptors, but not you have received free money, units, products, etc.)

Gifts continue independent of the membership.
we will check to make sure.

We have checked and you receive the gifts.
today two, then we have reset the counter, logged in and you received another one.

It could be that there is a case the message does not show but we could not reproduce such a case and we see them all on our logs.

there is no connection what so ever between premium membership and gifts.

Many thanks Andy. I'm finding the cash benefits in the financial statement - but indeed, the popups are missing.

It should not happen and we have rechecked conditions in new players countries and made sure they do not receive the advice messages because their country setting are within the advised range.

this should prevent the advice messages and the gift messages will surface instead.

this should be OK after the next upgrade coming Tuesday.

We checked again.
there are no popups but green areas on the desktop after you log in.

We will shortly replace them by pop ups that are more visible and require a confirmation.
