The share market is used by a small number of players and on a very large scale, by the investment funds.
The investment funds are essential in the process because they create an active market.

The share market can be very profitable. It is now increasing activity for several reasons:

1. The P/E ratios for corporations to perform an IPO are coming down to levels that are attractive for investment funds. This is not entirely done but moves in the right direction.
This will most probably lead to an increase in the value of many shares. (this is some inside trading information for all).

2. We have recently solved some performance issues that are linked to the massive share trading on all the worlds and are now able to allow funds to trade more.

Short term we plan a change in the trading by funds that will make them sell shares in corporations where they hold a very small fraction and try harder to purchase larger numbers of shares in single transactions.
This will reduce the number of share holders in each corporation, allow for larger transactions and improve performance even further.

How often are the transactions being processed?
I have been waiting for some to go through for almost an hour and a half now...

my observations support that trades on the share market go through on the 11th of each month till the end of the month. so the 1st through 10th the market is stagnant, in which you can still offer but won't be processed until the 11th.

Drew you are close.
Month processing starts at the beginning of the month on all worlds. The time it ends is not the same on all the worlds.
we had severe locking problems in the past with trading going on while the month processing is running.
we also have some cases when the trading in shares stopped. these problems were solved.
to prevent the locking, share trading is stopped when the month processing starts and restarted when it ends.

we are looking at solutions to restart share trading several times while the month simulation runs and process the backlog.

The problem will be solved but as of now, share trading is immediate most hours of the day.

Any chance you will increase the limit on the number of corps a CEO can hold shares in?
