The war upgrade that will allow the war process to run on the large maps will most probably be installed on July 3. (small chance that the update may be delayed to July 10th).

The update will include an easier way to move your units and a better visibility of where the units are moving to.
The next step in that direction will be the addition of multiple maps, allowing you to see more wars at the same time, view your own country and a much easier way to manage the process.

These updates will be followed up with the introduction of mobile units. (published here before).
Mobile units will have the ability to move across borders even when there is no war situation.

there will be several types of mobile units including land based units with fighting capabilities, intelligence units, espionage units and counter espionage units. Terror units will also be added after the introduction of the main upgrade.

We expect the introduction of these mobile units to change the war game and add a lot of dynamics.

More details on the functioning of mobile units of various types will be published in the coming 2 or 3 weeks.
A detailed manual will be available before the units become part of Simcountry.

The time table is quite short but may be influenced by the upcoming vacation period.

Disagree with killing war levels. Noobs need some protection from the wolves out there. However, a process to drop your own war level would be nice.

Perhaps destroying enough schools, roads, hospitals etc to drop down game levels (especially once these have war levels as a requirement) - and a reduction in cash (no hiding it out in direct trading or another country/world) - that way you can fight all those level 1 newbies - but with pretty much the offense and defense they can muster. You'd still have the edge, but wouldn't be able to steam roll over them at will.
