I would like to cordially invite all simcountry players to the chat room.

Chat has been dead for a few weeks/months.

Chat is a great place for newer players to interact with established players, learn the ropes of simcountry, maybe even learn some secrets that took us veterans years to learn.

You can share ideas/problems with other players.
Make new friends, join federations or use the room as a place to rant.

C'mon people, chat used to be a great place to hangout!

P.S.-if you don't come to chat I will dec each and everyone of your countries!

I'm with Keto. Some of the best times that I had in this game was the good natured fun we used to have in chat. I encourage all players to pop in, especially new ones, for game help and to build relationships with other players.

BUT.... for us clueless players, like myself.... I dun like ALL game talk and NO SPORTS topics, please. SHOES - an AWESOME topic!!!! :-P

I personally invite Drew in to chat, so that I can fuss about his hair to him personally lol and not just in a post!

I know it seems a decent more people do post in the forums but can never find their way into the chat room. It is a good place for all the reasons stated above.

The chat don`t work for some people.

I've never had a problem. One time someone posted thousands of smiley's and crashed the chat program for hours.. but other than that.. Maybe your java is not up to date..??? I have no idea why it wouldn't work.

I've never really had a problem with chat other than I never know anyone there, and after 5 min. I don't really care to know who is there.

Chat was a staple for a while, then I got bored with this game + no one was on + I'm busy.

Maybe when things clear up...

Well ya'll who do still play the game, do try to visit chat and revamp it for the newcomer. Perhaps then the game will pick up and peoples' interest will pick up.

Some poor lil fella was in there today and I was the only one there to help him. He got unlucky. lol But I referred him to someone who could help. So I did my good Sim Deed.

Nice to see a little revival in the game's forums. I'll give Andy a compliment for once: there is a much better feel around here then a few months ago.

Now all you need to do is update the software of this abomination of a forum. This thing doesn't even have emoticons!

Well seeing as WildEyes still remains "moderator" of chat, and I disagree with this decision by the game masters, I am taking my leave once again. All I can say is "Good Luck."

I came back because I was told that he/she did not moderate chat any more.

Why let one person drive you away. I knows yous is tougher than that.

Crafty, I have issue that a player who so misbehaved in the past in this game is rewarded with a position of moderator. You forget this is a player that made threats against me into my real life that had nothing to do with the game.

Furthermore, this player is biased in this position. I came back into the game to say hi I believe in April. I was talking to Wendy and Redman in chat when WildEyes came in as moderator. When he/she read it was I in chat, I was immediately banned. The only thing I said in answer to a question as to where I had been, I answered truthfully that I left the game because of the above stated reason. This was before Wild even entered into chat. Redman, Wendy and I were having friendly conversation when I was banned. There was nothing I stated to be offensive or to be construed as bad conduct.

I have issue with this. I really think the world of some of you, I had so much fun with you over the years, why I k
