Do the range of military transport planes increase as fighting levels are increased?

nope

which seems weird in my opinion. They dont have ammo so reguardless of even if you have 300Q the lack of ammo drops it to 150fighting. 300Q wing should move goods 30% faster and move 30% more per trip in war that can be a big difference but that my opinion

10k range for ATUs is pretty darn nice. they don't use much manpower, usually are cheap and easily available. their only problem is that significant numbers of them really suck down the aircraft fuel, and seem to me to hit the monthly upkeep kinda hard, (probably because of the high AF usage.)
