Phoenix King | Monday, August 13, 2012 - 01:51 am Today i logged into BFP4F from EA and they have a cool feature where everytime you log in you get a little something something in game, be it weapons, military gear, powerups, and so on and so forth. The same should happen in simcountry, every time we log in, there should be a random drawing of 10 cards like it is on EA and we choose one than it flips over and we get the item. So for simcountry it could be 70B to 200B, 1 to 5 gold coins, military weapons and ammo, and also goods and services, anything in game that we can use and we can choose the country to send it too. I think this would be a good way to increase activity in game and logins. Also GM's have you looked into sponsorpay i talked about this before but have not seen anything as of yet, its something EA also uses so that players can buy ingame items by watching video ads and other type of ads. This will also increase activity and your own revenue. You might want to look into getting a game marketer focused on Freetoplay which is a big thing right now. |
Phoenix King | Monday, August 13, 2012 - 01:51 am Let me know what you think of this Idea! |
SuperSoldierRCP | Monday, August 13, 2012 - 03:20 am lol thats already in place dude. Its given to free players when you start, Free GC, bombers, weapons. Nice idea already inplace |
Phoenix King | Monday, August 13, 2012 - 06:07 am LOL NOPE your wrong, you have it half right it is only for new players it should be for all players, it would give members who are not new an incentive to come to the game and log in. Also they have not yet implemented a way to monetize free to play players, they hope that they become full members but some people just do not want to pay. So they should have sponsorpay they could monatize free to play players while giving them in game benifits. |
Crafty | Tuesday, August 14, 2012 - 02:33 am Ah Pheonix, I would rather the game wasn't commercialised myself. Please, no poxy adverts, no pop-ups, no third party tracking cookies. |
Lorelei | Wednesday, August 15, 2012 - 12:04 am If I start seeing pop ups and such, Imma gonna kill Quetz! lol |
Kasper Quinn | Wednesday, August 15, 2012 - 12:33 am I was on board with Simcountry being commercialised myself but now thinking about it and i can see why its better the way it is. No pop ups, long loading time for pages. Yup guess i was wrong. Still how awesome would it be to fight your wars thru a playstation 3 type gaming console |
Drew | Wednesday, August 15, 2012 - 02:43 am no kasper strategy still has to run this game. I revamped tactics model maybe but definitely not something like a shooter (they suck) There can be some non-inconviencing marketing opportunities such as default names of corps like clothing for example can have their logo and name put in when you make a clothing company. Still changeable and whatnot. It won't work now unless membership increases, but it may shed their reliance on us for cash in gc's or membership fees. As for the incentive, I'd like an incentive for logging in, but that is just another way to make the game easier, which I'm not for. |
Crafty | Thursday, August 16, 2012 - 02:22 pm Yep, things of true quality generally get promoted by word of mouth. |
Anthony King | Thursday, August 16, 2012 - 03:04 pm strategy takes brain to work things out, kasper has none by the way. |
Kasper Quinn | Thursday, August 16, 2012 - 03:06 pm You are really pushing my buttons BOY |
Kasper Quinn | Thursday, August 16, 2012 - 03:08 pm @Drew...i wasnt talking soley shooter...it'd still be tactical, i mean i think you know what im talking about. To command a squad of tanks and win the battles instead of watching numbers. I know that would extremely make the game completely different tho. Its prolly just wishful thinking, it wont ever be implemented |
Kasper Quinn | Thursday, August 16, 2012 - 03:14 pm And if it was, it'd be too expensive for most of us. ( without 6 figure jobs ) |
Anthony King | Thursday, August 16, 2012 - 03:21 pm Too bad kasper.you should know where and when to lay off.Your the one is pushing your buttons buddy, you are doing yourself a great job here.
