9/11

My heart goes out to those who rescued the 9/11 victims and the victims themselves who have died in the attacks. In my opinion, America should have known it was coming because of the attacks in the 90s.

I heard the saddest song on the radio coming into work this morning. I was bawling.... I can't remember the name of the song, but it was the voice of a child whose father died in the attack with the song in the background..... a child saying "I miss you, Daddy..." 1 year after 9/11, then 5 years after 9/11, then 10 years after 9/11, saying what was going on in their life and that she hoped he was proud of her..... OMG!

I think i heard it too. Its so sad.

My heart (and that of Germany I am sure) goes to you American comrades that were victims of such savage attacks. (And yes as a Nation, Amerika was unfortunately a victim of terrorism).

I will never forget that day. I remember waking up, getting ready for work and hearing it on TV, but at that time it was suspected to just be a plane crash of some sorts. It was while I was driving into work, when I heard the radio announcer say... OMG another plane has struck. There was a poignant silence as understanding dawned.

I can tell you this...... it was a day where no work was performed at my office. We stood there stunned as we watched the horror scene unfold as something you would see in a movie..surely not something real. It was really a sad day in America, and really the world. None of us are safe from such terrorism.

Yeah then they plan on building it again. *20 years later* A PLANE HAS HIT THE FREEDOM TOWER! I love my country but we could be really stupid at times..hahaha

I was glued to the television that day. The worst moment was when the second plane hit.

Did anybody else notice that this inflammatory video that obviously was intended to spark a religious war was timed to bring attention and cause American deaths on 9/11 this year? It seems strange to me that the rumor going around is that he claims to be an Israeli American with Jewish supporters, and then we are getting reports that one of that actors in the film said he was not really Jewish at all, but from probably Egyptian decent?
