Remembering the time when the gamemaster pulled away from the gold coin market and the many comments and complaints about it, it seems that the situation has long changed.

At he time, the complaint was that it is impossible to get gold coins. This was not true. there was indeed a shortage but many gold coins were sold each day.

Currently, there are many offers of gold coins for game money and no offers of game money for gold coins.

As we explained many times before, we must have a possibility for anyone who wants game money for gold coins, to be able to exchange these gold coins immediately.

We have now added an offer to purchase gold coins from players and we ask for the upper limit for such deals.
This allows any player who wants to play that market, to join in and request just a little less game money and push our offer to the bottom of the list.

HA! the low cash price of coins, or put another way, the low amount of cash you receive for your GC is why there are no offers of it.

Your contribution can only devalue the currency further.

Please restore the SC$ value of a GC to a reasonable 100B per and let the players control the market with supply and demand.

The low exchange was there before and mentioned as a problem but there was a large shortage of gold coins.

Now, they sell them at even a lower price than the max possible and compete to sell gold coins for cash.

It seem that the exchange rate might be too high, not too low.

Well indeed, people want more cash for their GCs than even the max can provide. So there will be a lot of competition to sell your GC.

If you were to allow a higher price to be paid for GC then more offers would be taken and eventually the players would stabilise a market driven equilibrium, n'est pas?

I like there's few more ways to gain GC which as somewhat countered when the GM stop selling. So in some ways it balanced out.

I agree with crafty though that the GC limit should be based on players not by some random number in which the GM decides is right. If theres a ton of GC but few people selling cash why shouldnt i be able to charge 100B if not more.

I do want the GM to know i 100% agree there needs to be a limit on the top limit/bottom limit, But that should be up to the player. I think the GC should have an opition to sell between 50B(lowest)-150B(the highest).

And to prove a point id like Andy to look the the current people selling GC how many of them are new players with accounts less then 6 months old? Almost all of them. New players don't understand the trading and its them driving the cost down. With the large amount of GC they get handed to them from the start and the large starting sums of cash, They just take what they can get to start there empires. Most of them leave the game shortly anyways. I agree that new players need help but so do the vets. Who else is going to teach this new batch of players?

Not like we asking for much just a small tweak to allow free trade.
