Factory maintenance units are used by all corporations but they used to be different than other products.
Shortages of such units did not cause corporations to stop production. Shortages just caused a faster drop of quality in these corporations.

This measure was needed when the units were introduced because there were not many corporations producing them. By now, this exception is obsolete.

Starting coming Tuesday, Factory maintenance units become regular products.

A shortage of Factory Maintenance Units in a corporation will cause the corporation to reduce production or stop altogether!

This is exactly in the same way, the shortage of services can cause the reduction or stop of production.

Please check your stocks of Factory Maintenance Units and make sure your corporations have a stock of the product in the same way they have a stock of all other raw materials used in the production process.

All changes suck, right?
This should have been there for three months and lingered for maybe two years.

haha, yes Andy. There is a substantial body of neuro and psychological research that shows most people are resistant to change even when that change would benefit them. I suspect you are well aware of this feature of the human mind by now :)

Andy, could you clarify something for me please.

A corps expenditure monthly on FMUs, does that show as part of supplies used cost or is it the maintenance cost? And what about regular services?
