In all the years that I have played, I never worried about earthquakes. Do they really have serious impact?

Lol. Ouch

Earthquakes are concerning as corps get closed down if it's a 'big un'.

I had one in my first week of play . Didnt seem that bad , was several days before i worked out i had to create resources to help with the disaster . It took another day to to buy all the Relief Resources needed , by which time the worst was over . I was loosing several thousand pop a game day . I do think it was a mild one .lol . Like samsin i thougth it was a nice touch to the game .

"It cost me about 1T when all said and done on my first earthquake..." Devils halo

Can i point out, thats more than the cost of 2 million pop?!? Maybe you'd been better off just investing in more pop?

Samsin, in response to your question..I have no idea? When I checked my account after a few days, I noticed I was losing 60k pop a game month, and I was 1.2T in the hole. I was like WTF, so I had to investigate, my country stock all of a sudden was in the red. ( My country stock in a rare, rare, super rare occasion hits the red on certain products. I have my setting to insure I have surplus and enough supplies)it has been that way for at least 6 real months. My next step was to check my country news paper and sure enough BAM, earthquake...IDK, you guys tell me why all of a sudden my relief goes whack.

i'll tell you what has happened to me. i set up experimental supply units, that ran me out of ammo, and forced my county to immediate purchase of over priced goods... dropping me suddenly several T into the red...

i mean lesson learned, but could you imagine the harm you could do, if you figured out how do it?
