How long is 'A couple of months'???

SOmeone was applying for membership of my common market, but I was off-line for two days while he did, so the voting period expired and the application was auto-rejected.

I wanted to start a new vote to re-invite him, but the game keeps saying 'You have to wait a couple of months'.

Well, it's been 7 months now. In my understanding,'A couple should be 3 to 5 or something.

And if the game has a specific waiting period, why doesn't is simply say exactly how many months? This 'A couple' is BS if you ask me.

But does anyone know exactly how long this period is?

It appears the qarantine is only for my own suggeting of a vote?! The applicant has now reapplied and the voting started instantly.

It smells like a bug, but at least now we're getting somewhere.
