Drew is on Trial for attempting to bring Nuclear War to a newer President while backed in a federation full of battle hardened veterans.

Drew charges this player with economic subversion of Drew's economy through market share acquisition and disputed share buys.

I have responded to this information for 2 reasons. Primarily, during my war with Steve Ryan on GR, I made a economic and mutual protection pact with this player Plexia.

Secondarily, because DrewCakes actually committed a similar infraction against me, I let it go though because he was new and I didn't want to discourage him.

I have declared war on Drew. He was shown mercy, but chose violence when confronted with his own actions in reverse, and Plexia and I have the MPP in place.

So, I can choose to allow these decs to expire or I can try and give Drew a run for his money.

Please make your case for or against in a short few sentences. Essay posts more than a single paragraph of 10 sentences will be counted as a condemnation vote against Drew. Flame this thread if you want to.

Ok to plead my case I will do in short easy to follow to statements.

My Economic infractions against you were in haste, and non-refundable his hostility was a continuing fashion with no intent on respecting my wishes.

A slew of diplomatic messages were exchanged on my part to lessen our hostile nature between the two of us. He refused to bend an inch.

My intent was not to leave Plexia with irreversible damage, just drop a bomb or two, so he would realize that hostilities towards another player need to be atoned for.

Plexia has been playing longer than I, and so despite no country conquering intent to begin with, he should however be capable of facing me without your interference.

PVP is not something I have done before, and a war vet of Wendy's caliber is a sign of muscling those less experienced.

I have agreed to drop the intent all together when I discovered outside influence. To justify this response I simply wanted to hit him, then let the situation disapate and with outside interference, even if it was on my side would make an unfair spectacle of a simple injustice.

I would like to defend economic subversive acts against Wendy, with that said I have told all CEO's that have attempted to do business with me that I am not interested and only I want stake in corporations that my populace run.

With that said, what is acceptable in SC was determined before I arrived. I did not make nationalization a criminal act, SC gives the option for presidents like me who do not want to profit share with others. To nationalize without asking first for her to move was inconsiderate and I regret it, but it is not the same actions performed by Plexia because the intent was different and much less personal.

@Jiang- I thought me and Wendy were friendly enough to each other beforehand and I definitely never called for war. She declared it as I told her goodnight, after a friendly chat about HTML, peace has been intent from the start.

In my 4 years (is it?) here, hostile bidding has always been subject to reaction, possibly of the violent kind. It's up to the individuals concerned.

Were Drew to show as being a noob basher then I would expect him to receive some retalliation from the community. Threats or even the limited use of weapons against the hostile bidder does not make the bidded upon a noob basher, especially if diplomatic channels were used first. His federation have not involved themselves as far as I am aware so are out of the equation.

Your previous benevolence towards Drew is to be applauded and Plexorias best reaction would be to follow your example and promote peace and understanding, benefitting all involved.

So no, it's not your place to act as the worlds policewoman.

7 sentences, sweet and to the point.

Drew I quite right to teach some noob not to mess with his corps. I'd do the same.

Defending his actions sends the wrong message.

Catching a few nukes will soon teach him not to hostile bid.

I'll put it to you this way Drew, if you attack Plexia, for any reason, I will crush you, plain and simple. I don't care if it is for share buys or any of that. You didn't take to heart what I told you about nationalizing my corp, so if it is legal and all good in your eyes, share acquisition is too and I will defend it as such. I actually encourage Plexia to continue until you get my point as well. If anyone else attacks Plexia on your behalf I will crush you.

So there you have it. You can stop your 'poor you thingy' and continue playing unabated.

If you keep up your sharp tongue though, I will change my mind very quickly.

I do tend to have sharp tongue myself, and I admit that openly but I am willing to pay the cost to be the boss in this respect. If you are as well, keep up the snide remarks and we will both.

Don't take me defending an ally or honoring an agreement as not being friendly Drew. The only way we take a step backwards on that front is if you take what has occurred here personally. I still like you as much as you thought I did before I declared. If I had not liked you and did not see the potential you have as far as playing the game, I would have made quick work of you when you nationalized my corporation.

And you can keep listening to Scarlet all you like, everyone he has boosted up to that manner has suffered a great loss as a result. Corporate partner, Jack, I would have beat the snot out of Super if he didn't hold protection, and you as well if you decide his words should encourage any rash behavior.

Now everyone can get along.
