I brought this up before and i didnt get much help.

Last night i sold 12M units of power on KB @ 268Q
12M units at 100Q is 1T, i sold them expecting 2.6T in return. This morning i found i only made just a but over 1T in cash with all goods sold.

This means my Q in total dropped from 268->100Q during the sale. This happened last time when i tried to sell around 20T worth of stocked nuclear power but i gainned only 7T(which was 100Q again)

Is anyone else having this issue becuase this seems VERY unfair that players buy this high Q goods to have them reverted to 100Q when sold. Also i pay for goods of 170Q to make my higher Q goods meaning in the end if i buy 170Q and make only 100Q on the sale im losing 1/3 of my income, making trading worthless and i will always lose money.

Ok I was kidding.

So Super have you checked to see if the money was not spent elsewhere? Did you check your math twice? Can honestly say you had a clear idea of how much cash you had before the sale. It could be that you had less cash than you thought and the correct amount wouldn't show until the monthly update adjusted the numbers.

Also if you want an answer faster, you should probably email them if you didn't get an answer on the forum.

i trasfered cash into the CEO before hand.
I had 2T on had and it jumped to 3T after the sale.

Andy Can you please investage this matter?
Also if you look into the CEO on KB you will see i had this issue before i shoudl have made 25T but i only got 7T.

If an error is found i think i got a hefty sum of cash in back order

Maybe you have to remember you will only receive what people are prepared to pay for it. Unless it's an immediate order, who buys anything but Q120 electric or nuclear power? And what sales strat did you use. A fixed price or a market price? Market was green or red? Dunno, thats more or less how it seems to work, hence why asking over manufactured quality in corps production is pointless.

If we produce/sell at Q260 and players only buy at Q120, then why do we have quality in the first place?

A great question asked many times Keto, the answer is veiled in obscurity. Will an answer present itself?

I guess because the game sucks it up on such products. A lot of products (that corps use) are bought at higher Q, and military generally. I would guess, and it is only a guess, that the game lets the extra payment for quality in some products slide to keep the markets viable. It has been said by the GM that if they didnt interfer in some cases then the market probably would collapse.

I would be all for the re-utilisation of quality and selling strategies etc myself, and let the free market (-ish) rule again.

Actually I would be all for most things SSRCP posts for. But I am not the game developer, do not have their experience with how its likely to work or have privvy to their intentions. Until we get it from the horses mouth all we can do is assume and postulate from what we see.

I agree Crafty, but the expense to ourselves to upgrade to a higher quality, to try to make a profit by selling at a higher quality, should be accounted for when we sell such product.
Look at all the money Super(and ourselves) are losing because our Q260 product sells for Q120. Doesn't seem fair to us paying members now does it?
The game should sell at Q120 but pay us for Q260 if that's the case. It's not our problem the market is the way it is.
I say abolish quality in all respects, especially for products we produce and sell.

They did pay the player the difference in quality some time ago. They didn't want to continue subsidizing the difference.

I dunno, I was assuming (perhaps wrongly) that SS has bought those elec units while cheap and hoped to profit by selling them high. Very unlikely he had his corps sell their output to his ent until he had 12M accumulated. So there it seems fair the market price and Q demand dictates. If not, then his corps that produced them got their true value.

Now when talking about producing Q, yes, but you will get more or less the price for the Q you build, maybe less 10% or so depending on demand.

I'm sorry if it seems I'm making you out to be wrong, I dont mean to, I'm just throwing vague thoughts I have out there.

If I'm wrong, I'm wrong. I'm ok with that.
I have to believe what Super stated because he scrutinizes(scrotumizes) everything he buys or sells.
So if he sold Q260 and received Q120 worth of money, where did the other 1.6T$ go?

CRAFTY YOU PROMISED NOT TO TELL :(
no but really

Its a problem becuase i have 20nuke corps self contracted. I am making this high Q in the hopes 1day to resell for increased cash

also to make 270q i need to buy goods @ 170.

Meaning if i sell it 100Q and it costes 170 to make im losing 30% meaning i get an even shitter deal..

Andy are you invesatigating this?
