The only reason I can see is if they are gonna get us to mine for it. Then capping the price will remove the chaos?

Lets face it. There is no Gold. Like in real life.....The only way to buy oil is with the US dollar or as also known 'The Petro Dollar'. So all countries swapped their Gold for the 'Petro Dollar' so they could buy oil. But now everyone wants to swap their 'Petro Dollar' back for their gold. But the only thing that the 'Petro Dollar' is measured in is it's value in gold (which the US Government is mean't to be holding). But the US Government has spent/borrowed against the gold so any return of the gold for the paper (UD dollar/Petro dollar) would do what to the US dollar and the USA?

...Uh, no offense, but it sounds like you're ranting. And people who rant are very hard to understand.

I have to agree with the lack of Gold Coins in the game.

When the Gamemaster was supplying the coins, it was easily noticeable there was a large hunger for these. And now, he has stopped supplying them.

In fact, he has done even worse and brought the population to a hault: there is no population market. This how seasoned players gained a large portion of their coins.

And let us not forget that asset packages have been disabled due to some mysterious exploit for months.

I think the problem we had with someone selling counterfeit GC on Ebay has caused a lot of this.

Remember that thread?

Hello Nix. I thought you must be hibernating in this weather.

...So basically, because some idiot wanting to make a quick buck, everyone else suffers. See, now that's how you make it easy to understand.

GC are being traded but not as much as the GM says. I trade in space and i buy and sell a ton of goods ALL the time and i never trade for then a few hundered at a time.(one in while)

Personally they need to add a few more ways to make GC sure you can make GC moving up the war levels but after you do your stuck with crappy income. The difference between war level 7 and war level 11 is only 4T in cash, Yet you fight double the wings, 200 MORE quility in the higher level and stealths double attack and do more damage(note they do MORE damage and attack more then players are allowed to).

Honestly to make the higher levels worth more, i think they shoudl be adding GC to the mix. Instead of taking over the country in war level 10+ there should be a second choice. Clicking just end the war wouldnt give us the nation but give us GC equal to the cash assests we would have gotten. 11T = 220GC Getting that each war would be WELL worth moving up the war levels.

(side note)
they need to bring back the old war income stats.
1.5T * your war level.
Come on really? All the stuff i have to fight in war level 11 and i get 11T? As i proved before you spend a MIN of 5T in just ammo alone (if it was low Q.)

At the risk of starting an old argument, I still maintain that the current (broken) system of GC trading should be fixed.

I for one will no longer buy GC. Once my countries are taken over or just lose them, or when premium membership ends; I will stop playing this (now) very unrealistic sim.

I will probably never get out of debt, but I will no longer pay to play.

I offered you help Michael. I'm wondering if you should have taken my offer a long time ago.

I agree with Michael: once you get into some debt, you'll never get out. The way the game works when we are away doesn't help, it makes it worse.
