When I had a premium acct a few years ago my country reverted to a free one, and I lost a bunch of stuff that i had purchased under the premium and I only had 2 countries left of 3. |

Oh yeah, the membership expired while I was on vacation and I never even got a warning email. I logged on after a month away and found out what had happened. I left for a few years, but I came back, like a beaten dog  |

It locks you out of your countries. I know this because I didn't bother to renew my membership in January until about a week after it had expired.
Obviously the GMs are trying to lock players into premium. |

cool, i like that Avatar Tom. and yelp, you get locked out till membership paid. but keep in mind the GM will destroy corps and such for each game month till you pay so might be best to start new as free player should that happen. |
