1. Mobile Nuclear Defense Units were added to Simcountry. These units have 20 Nuclear defense missile batteries and many Nuclear defense missiles. They will participate in the defense in case of a nuclear attack within a distance of 40 miles from the attacked target. The units will enhance the defense against nuclear attacks. The units can also be traded on the Crusis space station.

2. Some errors on the Forum have been solved, preventing Authentication errors and preventing arbitrary names on the chat system that are designed to confuse players as to who the participant is. The name on the chat is the name of the player in the game.

3. The cost of weapons and ammunition but also the cost of many other products is reduced a bit. This will make building armies cheaper and reduce the cost of maintaining the army and waging war.

4. A major hardware upgrade increased the performance of all systems. It will allow for faster processing even in peak hours and when the month processing is running.

5. The Exchange of Mobile Units and Country is now faster even when large numbers are involved.

6. The pages showing the lists of military units are improved. Also the detail page of military units is improved.

7. Military Units move in smaller, but more frequent steps on the map.

8. Nominal value: Link to country finance page is only usable if finance is not secret.

9. Country Year-to-Date cash was incorrect after country was conquered. Fixed!

10. Some targets, defended by Garrisons, were mistakenly removed when the country was conquered - fixed.

11. The Enterprise score increased by 3000 to prevent negative scores. Country scores are also climbing to prevent the same.

12. The White Giant world now runs 6 months per day.

A Mobile Nuclear Defense Unit is a Mobile Land Force Unit.
Setup a new Mobile Land Force Unit and you will see it.

Yes, a TRUE SCORE button or page would be very helpful.

Some kind of basic description like

Current penalty XXXX
Days remaining of Penalty XXX
Points Increase per Month/Day XXX


We also now has a a strange system where I will have to refuse the prizes for being ranked in the top section every month, simply because I am waiting to get back to the top again.

WC3 stated that the intention was to pay out more prizes to more people, but if every top winner does the same as me, what will actually happen in practice, is most of the top 10-15 players refusing the awards because they are waiting to move up.

Do the awards we refuse get passed down to the person below us in the ranking? If not it is likely that less awards will actually be handed out long term. I am of course basing this on the assumption that receiving even a smaller award reduces your score.

I knew it was going to be expensive. But i must say that price is going a bit overboard. However that would depend ofc on how many mobile nuke-defense units that is needed for coverage of normal country?

If one only needs a few (eg up to five) that it might still be viable. I like lazy. But everyone should have nuke defence as part of the garrisons setup...

The other issue is, how easy will it be to destroy those mobile nuke def units? Less than 160 stealth can destroy every nuke batt in each garrison with 20 nuke batts. It would be very expensive to simply have 150 or so stealth be able to destroy a mobile nuke def unit at such cost.

Maybe the mobile nuke def units are more difficult to destroy than reg 450Q garrisons with nuke batts in them? I dont know.

(Laughs) I brought this up awhile back and it was dismissed. But to the main issue

The COST of some mobile units is to high.
Also 21GC in just professionals to man a single nuclear missile def unit is extreme.

20 Batteries is WAY to much considering they only need at max 2 batteries in an attack.

I think the GM should look into reducing these number. My suggestion is as follows. Keep the name
But

-Reduce the number of batteries to 5 Batteries per unit
-Allow other units to be stationed with it such as
Missile interceptors, Anti Air, Missile Defense, And some land based defense units.

This would lower the amount of batteries but also allow for some form of defense to protect the unit

The nuclear defense units are becoming smaller like all other mobile units.
the numbers of soldiers and officers keeps declining and the cost of the weapons and missiles too.

Their cost however will remain high but probably lower than the cost of war protection.

So what are u saying Andy its impossible too win a war with these mobile units ie Their cost however will remain high but probably lower than the cost of war protection, given the fact you cant lose with war protection you cant even be at war lol

Moving land force units works fine for my countries. If moving does not work for you, please mail the gamemaster with more details.
Which country, which units? On which map?
War or peace time?
Which browser are you using?
