Hi Everyone,
One of the things that I have always loved about this game and what has kept me here over the years is the social part of the game. We have such a wonderful community of players with wonderful and fun personalties, albeit a few bad apples.
I really think it is a shame that players are allowed to talk filthy trash and dole out uncalled-for crap against people and call it game. I beseech the Gamemasters to put a stop to this. I was told that they don't want to involve themselves in disputes between players, but I think when it comes down to losing a customer - even one paying customer, something SHOULD be done.
I finally said "enough" when Wendy made sick and twisted inferences to me being a pedofile or something because I tried to help out the kids in the game. I saw the kids as the game's future, and was encouraged by game vets to start a fed to help teach the game. I even had the support of Hydra and Laguna to do this. I'm sorry I couldn't fulfil this. I tried, though.
As I phase out of the game and try to help two friends of mine get established before I leave, I have noted that noone is talking any more.
Please keep the forums and the chat alive. Share your spirit and your wit with others, but please keep it respectful, as you don't want to run off players, especially new ones.
We used to have so much fun here. I hope that all of you who knew the real me, will remember me with a smile. I really did try to contribute over the years with my personality and spirit, but I suppose I failed miserably if a player went to such lengths for years to drive me from the game.
I am going to miss most of you very much. May life treat you all well and may you find happiness each and every day.
Thank you to those who gave me smiles and laughter over the years, and you know who you are.

i like his style myself roving eye. and jan, you can't focus on things past. like rocky balboa said. it's not how hard you hit but how much you can take and keep moveing forward. hang in there. |
