THE SCORE - An Opinion

Hi Guys,

I asked this question of WC3 in another thread, but there was no response, so ill ask again.

We all now know that accepting any award for any country or CEO on any world decreases your score for all your countries or CEO's on ALL worlds.

WC3 stated that the aim of the new score system was so that more awards were handed out, and to a wider range of players.

My question is this. If all the players who were the top scorers, now have to refuse an award month after month until they reach the top award which is automatically accepted, and the refused awards aren't passed down to the next person in the rankings, then isn't the actual situation we have now that most of the top 10 awards will be refused and WC3 will be paying out less awards?

So in addition to making our scores unclear, not thinking this through has actually caused the opposite of the objective.

To further your point, I have refused four awards the last two months. The other issue is that the CEO awards are lower than country rewards but retain the same penalty as them.

I would consider accepting every award if the score penalty was proportional to the gold coins awarded, CEO vs country and throughout the tiers. At least then, things would average out.

I couldn't agree more with both of you. Plus, it would be really nice (and not so difficult for the GM) to actually include a field somewhere in the home page of a country or an enterprise with the exact score penalty and its duration.

why dont you stop being greedy and accept the generous 34 GCs

I agree Aries, the score penalties are disproportionate, and I agree Christos, I have asked in 3 separate posts now for a clear score breakdown

Very few awards are refused.
The total amount of gold coins that are given to players every month is significantly higher than before the last change.
we are happy with the system as it functions now.

We have also promised to show some details of the score, including the score award penalty.
this function will be added ASAP. I hope it will make it with the update of June 18 or June 25.
