Is this another transaction only ridiculously reserved for Premiums?

"Your Country can only buy shares of corporations you control".

Wasn't this updated to be allowed with the August 8th Changes?

Also it doesn't seem like its possible to buy shares of corporations with your IF when they are in your country.... even if you don't own them..... I believe you get the same message as above even though you are purchasing with your IF and not your country..... Can anyone clarify?

And why can't I put in and take money out of the IFs I should be allowed to increase my people's standard of living by investing in the IF for them.... I also should be able to tax dividends directly and take money from the IF..... And what the hell is the pension for? The gm talks a lot about not wanting to trivialize parts of the game but I'd say 75% of the game is trivialized and nerfed already

pensions first

their are a few people that figured out how to manipulate it to an outrageous proportion. The GM set them all to 10T, so that every one would have the same.

IFs are similar, but different, in the since, that most of the cash in them, is money that was paid out from corps, money that could have found its way into the countries pocket book, but was diverted to the IFs. IFs have a similar problem, that their are some that are absurdly large.

With the combination of years of dividends, and share loop holes, allowing players a better manipulation of large funds, that may be there, as a result of game exploit, would make any GM pause.

They have promised us new features for the IF. They haven't been very clear about what those are. But they mentioned it in the past, when players requested the same type of features as Y.

When you're average newb has less than 1T in their IFs, and it grows in the rate of Millions, of game dollars. Compared to some investment funds that at over 130T, (or even larger,) the GM are most likely to do some sort of "correction," before they give us additional features.

i guess the reader digest version of what i just said, would be

your average player, and especially newbs, would be at a tremendous disadvantage, with new IF/Pension features, compared to the players that know the loop holes.

i think people who have spent years accumulating an advantage should be able to retain that advantage... it seems like the whole game is nerfed except for c3 warring which is overpowered

I know I have taken great care in trying to grow my investment funds. With the introduction of large score penalties preventing competing for prizes every month, one must find new game goals to shoot for. In addition, it is correct that the money I diverted to my investment funds, could have been elsewhere. I have sold stocks to my investment fund from my enterprises when they were sure to grow, diverting those gains there rather than my CEOs. I don't own any of the largest investment that were spoke of, but I would be against any reset of my work or anyone else's.

My suggestion would be based on my experiences on LU. I IPO many corps there and there tends to be a shortage of investment. I would be for allowing those with smaller investment funds, say less than $2T, to allow their government to grant money to the fund up to a certain investment fund total value, up to $2T for example. I would highly encourage players who use this option to then manage their own funds to preserve their investment.

Investment funds must invest outside of the country. I believe this is a fair restriction and encourages either cooperation with other players or providing a needed benefit to owning, and protecting, an empire.

I'm not investing in my own corps though..... But regardless the error message needs to be changed.... It say "your country may only purchase shares in corps which you own" ..... Even though your buying with your IF not your country
