I find it pretty ridiculous that I've bought 1.8T in ammo upgrades at minimum fixed price and only have enough to up 6 qua on 7 land units.

Shouldn't it be portioned to cost? Or at least let me destroy ammo currently deployed to units. Perhaps cheaper ammo gets more units of upgrade.

If there's something I'm not aware of, please let me know. Because this is hardly economical, and I have to buy high, but put up with already deployed ammo and manually reconstruct the unit. I believe it needs an economy reconstruction.

$1.8T SC buys 18.71 million ammunition upgrades. This would indicate you are upgrading over 3 million units of ammo. If this is true, the lesson you need to learn is that it is not economical to upgrade all types of ammunition. This does not indicate that a game change is needed.

I mean make it economical for those types of ammo. I stick to upgrading only fighter missiles of the sort. Land ammo, I minus well reconstruct the units and rewrite the garrisons.

There's a big list, and I believe it needs to be readjusted.

Id like to see ammo upgrades play a part in Q effect

120Q upgrade
----VS---
330Q upgrade

is nothing other then a price difference.
If i use a 330Q upgrade i should see a 3.3unit increase.

or have the natural decline of Q go slower, or you need to have equal upgrade quality to weapon/ammo Q, or something. its kinda silly to pay triple, for zero effect. its one of those things in SC that only hurts those that don't know

but then over upgrading, has always been a huge money pit. which is part of the point of it, i think. the only effective way i was able to get it to work, fairly cheaply, was when i could shop on 4 planets for the cheapest goods, and shuttle them to the right spot. otherwise, by about the time you get some where, theirs somethings else, and another 100T of cash gone.

although, the GM never intended for us to upgrade everything. and true to SC-player form, because some one can, every one has to...

That just makes the units more special when they are ready.

True, but them when mobiles lose their precious fighters, it hurts to dilute all that hard work with a qua 337 resupply.
