As far as i can tell my nation has spent 20T in 18months or 1T a month, but NON of my resent buys can account to that, NOT EVEN CLOSE.

I think this is a game error can i get a GM to investigate this?

@super,

"NOTHING EVER GET LOST IN SC" :)
that's what you'll likely get from GM

i've email so many, but get none back from gm regarding my many suspicious losts. it would be so easy to have a debit and credit transaction log so all things can be re-check, such as if you spent 1T per earth day, then your cash would be debted 1T and what did you get as credit for this money spent. i'm sure the existing structures of this game have the capability in place to impliment a proper debit/credit system, but for the life of me i cannot understand why gm not doing this transparent debit/credit system for the game. i'm sure most players would understand the basic accounting principles use on earth, and these would be the best things for this game could teach players the simple basic accounting practices for managing a business too :)

I have looked at Super's country and his material assets increased by the same amount of his cash loss. If others request assistance, you will need to post your country, world, and unhide your finance page.

I also looked at my buying strategies.

I have it set to buy 12months of supplies for my nations. Which for services is 300M units, yet the Game is buying 1B units almost 36months.

Andy can you please investigate this issue?
Im still losing and theres not much more i can chage

i've been given 30B for one of my corps without my asking for, even though that corp makes about 1B per month. email gm that i did not ask for this money, so don't want. gm said i could payback early with the 1.5% panelty?

i have only known that enterprises are automatic given money, but not for individual corps. if this is an error on gm part, please just correct it. this game is perfect that it's NEVER gm fault or mistake?

i've lost many billions, but my corps makes billions profit too. so i can't figure out what holes are leaking these billions.

Xon, like the others. You present a scenario and assume something is wrong. However, you provide no information to allow anyone to help you. Maybe you should provide information on world/country/corp perhaps along with anything else you believe related?

Is anybody buying up shares in your own corps again? Maybe thats it. I set my enterprises to repurchase shares of my corps to increase their market values, however I am loosing trillions in the process. A trade off...

We are watching profit and loss in all the worlds all the time.
The current levels show that profits are at 10% to 20% of the income.

It is of course different if you have a very large army or an empire with many countries as government cost is higher if you have a large empire.

Cash levels are a different issue.
they should increase if your country is profitable but will decline if you have a large army.

All this is easy to see on the financial pages.

you can see the profit or loss and you can see exactly where your cash is going or coming from.

We answer all mails once.
Many messages about the same after we have already answered, make no sense.

I lost ... this and that is simply not true.
If your cash is alower, you have obviously spent it.

There is now a detailed log, showing exactly what you have bought.
It was added recently to make sure you can see what was bought and for how much.

please check the log and make the neccessary changes if needed.

We also watch some countries where the complaints come from and find extreemly rich countries and accounts with many trillions in assets.

It seems that losing all this money can end up with hundreds of trillions in accumulated assets.

@aries,
gm can look at my empire
i do keep track of my empire on excel, so i do notice the movements from earth day to earth day. lots of cash lost, yet corps and country making profit, but total assets do no increase significantly.

to stop me and everyone else from asking these very simple questions, just have a transparent transaction log with credit and debit so i know that my cash as been debited $X amount while i have been credited with $X mount worth of Milk, Gold, or Electricity.

my state corps must not be automatically given loans without my permission? my country has many billions of cash so why is game parameters automatically given loans from someone else to my corps? if this automatic giving out loans is available, it must be to my country when i'm out of cash for my country?....just like i am automatically given loans for my enterprise when it needs cash? HOPE THIS IS AN ERROR, AND BE CORRECTED !!!

i have now been given $100B loans to my corps without me asking for these money. most of my corps in the country make about 500M per month in profit, so why not give this money to my country so i can distribute to my corps according to my own choice? and if when i need money for my country, i will submit a loan application.

this automatically giving loans is good for players, but to stop abuses would be that the loan amount should not exceed the total assets of the country.

and this feature would be much better and more efficient than begging security council for money.

Andy

The alternative to automatic loans is bankruptcy.
Corporations cannot continue if there is no money to purchase raw materials.

We might add this function:

either allow automatic loans
or
When the cash goes negative, the corporation goes away.

In the real world, there is no negative cash. They go to the bank and ask for a loan.
With so many corporations, being away for several days might bankrupt many corporations as you need to ask for loans and you are not there to do it on time.
(lots of clicking too).

You can also transfer cash, with a single function, and increase cash levels in all your corporations to a level that will prevent loans.

@andy,
i have over 400B cash in my country, why is this function not an automatic transfer from my country to the corps?

if my country is negative cashflow, then the loans would be for my country and i can allocate the loans to my corps. if you find that i'm not there for several days, then you can auto transfer from my country to my corps.

this function of auto transfer to enterprise should be the same as for country/empire, why change between these two entities?

now that if i pay these loans back, i am hit with a panelty for each of them. i will ask for money if i need money, i don't need for gm to create more holes for my money to leak out !!!

a great new feature, but wrong target.
i have countries that now have negative cashflow, why don't this function work for those countries. you can help stop the abuses by limiting that the max amount of the loans does not exceed the total assets of the country. when the debts (loan principals and loan interests) start exceeding the total assets, then gm can start auto selling country assets to pay off the debts. if president do not pay attention, and total assets has been depleted then country turn over to gm as c3....this is fair, and common sense as would be on earth. my earth bank do not automatically transfer money to my company when it's low on cash, i have to ask the bank for me and the money comes to me not my company.
