I'd like to wish all of you celebrating the holiday today, a very blessed Thanksgiving. May you and your families be especially blessed and safe through the holiday season.

As I phase out of Simcountry, I just want to thank all of you for the wonderful friendships, the fun chat and good times in this game. You are all truly a wonderful gaming community. I will pop in from time to time to visit those of you, I've grown to love and call friends.

Be good to each other, be happy. Happy Thanksgiving! Don't eat too much!!! :P

All my love,

happpy turkey day, don't see how this is SUCH a big deal in the states., In Canada on our date, October 13, we dont do alot, other then we see in the states, we invite or are invited to families have a big ass dinner, more likly turky go home sleep and fart. NOW question is whats the big deal? How do you percieve Thanksgiving, why is it bigger then Christmas to you? or almost or not so much, but still... explain please the big deal... is it the boxing matches on black friday? the football? or does the gathering of the feast have a meaning about the pilgrims. Or is it just tradition. You americans have much more fun on your date then ours, just want to know why, thanks.

Actually Thanksgiving is a day to give thanks to the Lord for all the blessings He has provided. We celebrate it with family and friends and have the big meal. Sadly Thanksgiving is often overlooked to be the kick off to Christmas which is much more celebrated. I think we celebrate it much like you do, Homer. It's a day about those we love and warmth and thanks about what has been given to us....the important things. It also celebrates the Pilgrims and the discovery of our great nation and their giving of thanks to God for their livelihoods. I hope this explains things.

Happy Holidays,
Jan
