Rejection of #1 CEO Award

As it seems you dont look in the Awards Section of the Forum too often I repost here.

'As it seems next month I could again be in Range of the #1 CEO Award on KB so I hereby declare I dont want that award so please dear GMs dont auto accept it for me'

Plz Andy or Robo reply so I know you've read it

always been and for excellent reasons.

I'm one of a few members who read the docs quite often. And I've won some #1 Awards allready and know they are auto-accepted, that's why I ask if it's possible for you to not-auto-accept for my CEOs?
I'm perfectly fine for auto-#1 Country but dont want that for my CEOs.
Is there any way to not auto accept or do I have to ruin my CEOs as to not get #1 Award?
You can take my CEOs out of the Ranking alltogether if thats the only way

...or perhaps CEO #1 awards could have double the GCs or half the penalty?

why don't you just shift some money around and drop your game level? quick to implement and quick to rectify, no lost of wealth...

I really hope you Game Masters get that you are offering an award, and forcing players to except it, when most players would actually try to avoid it, because it has the same penalty, at half the reward.

well balls, that would also have an effect on my Country what I would like not to have and at least the shift of Money wont have that much of an effect as I regularly do that anyway

Well, back in May I was foolish enough to reach #1 CEO in KB. 10 years later it seems I still have a 1.700 point penalty lol. I was such a noob to let myself reach that #1 spot...

Ideally you would win both (country and enterprise) no.1 in the same month. I can't see why you can't park loads of cash in your transfer account to drop your game level until such a time as you are in a position to win both awards.

because cash isn't the only factor involved in CEO scores. keeping ~5T in my CEO, has me at #3 on LU. Behind the GM CEO. Its more about the value of my Corps, not my cash.

give this a try some time, if you have Profit Sharing set, to 80 or 90 or what ever is normal. Yea, try turning that off, and watch what happens to your score! it'll go up, allot!

not to mention, what good it is, if players so don't like an "award," that they'd have to go out of their way to avoid it, rather than compete for it? Its not really an award, its like throwing stale bread at starving peasants.

balls, ideally you only win #1 country awards as it has the best GC/Pointreduction Ratio so that game level trick isnt that good as it first seems

tbh, I'm happy about that too but as it punishes my score for it I'd like to have it as effective as possible. I wouldn't mind if there were no awards at all as I'd be perma #1 on KB ^^ (at least if maccy wouldnt see that as a challenge to raise his Game Level again;) )

no awards then no gold...obviously it has been done to share the rewards around.

We have created this system to make sure more players have a chance of receiving an award.
getting or not getting the first award for an enterprise is obviously a rich mans problem.

Most players would love to receive 150 or 180 gold coins even if it is forced on them.

We have players who received 900+ gold coins in a single month and are complaining about the long recovery period.

we will keep this system in place.

Sry, but if I say you can take my CEOs out of the Ranking alltogether that means I'm offering to leave my spot to other players, so why's that a problem?

You have this idea that we are sitting here moving people up and down and away?
it is all automatic procedures. The game runs automatically for years, the software works, servers too.
So you want someone to spend some hourse and change the software to make it skip you as CEO?
and bend the rules for you specifically?

Well if you would like to change it according to a more wide-spread requested request you could change the point reduction related to the actual winning, like 5Points/GC and there would be way more people happy about that and then I wouldnt mind winning as CEO as well.

And yes, I'd have another personal request: dont get insulting

yea, BQ wasn't asking for anything nearly every one else has pointed out, or noticed on their own.

When no one wants it!

And the idea, that some people would go for anything... follows the stale bread, starving peasants example.

Ok, another idea: how about just including CEO AND Country #1 Awards to the ones that can be rejected? I hope that would be an easier programming-problem and would give the ones that dont like the Point reduction and the ones that dont like CEO Awards what they/we want while the rejected Awards could be handed down to the next in line as with the lower Awards (afaik thats how it works, right?) so noone would be forced to get Awards while giving others the possibility to get it and if some of the 'bigger' Players would like to really be on #1 in ranking that would be a drive for other Players to try to achieve what those have achieved (tbh that was one of my Goals when I started and kept me playing to get to where maclean was when I started)
