Biggest empire in the game?

Hello,

Is there any way that I can search for this? Or is there somebody who can tell me where I can find it?

I'm just curious how big people can grow there empires. I know of all the 'handicaps' and that the GM's are against to many large empires but there has to be somebody somewhere who has 25+ country's. Right?

Roving Eye on White Giant has 102 countries at this moment. Most of these countries are heavily in debt.

I possess the biggest shoe empire in this game. :-)

my friend Khome with the Peoples Republic of Malizi on KB has over 30, i myself have 7. its amazing someone on WG as over 100. but it is very expensive in RL money to maintain an empire of that size i hear. and Malizi gets a shit ton of earthquakes

He is very, very badly in debt. Finances and power are certainly not had by having such a large empire of failed states.

Presidium, are Malizi's country's doing well? Most of the strong (economically, welfare and military) tend to be no bigger than about 7 or 8.

I have a few lands myself and I can understand that 7/8 is the most 'optimum' number. But 102...

It shows some real commitment to this game.

taking 102 c3s is the easy part of course... maintaining them and making them a profitable part of an empire is not an easy task, but there are reasons for everything. now the big question is how many planets does he have many on. its gets real tough when you reach 10 countries if your playing in a normal manner. If you hit GL4 then the auto index build stops, so it get tougher. and if you play a lot of planets too. that at least 1 ent or country there.
I would hate to log in and have to sort thru 102 slaves to find the one I want to go to. LOL that would drive me nuts having that many to choose from!

^^^ that would be cool if the GM did something, b/c the upkeep is too much and they can automate it using the games index and score systems. be a auto information generator and saves the time. it was tracks by many over the past if you knew where or who to look/ask.
+100 Tendo for bringing that one back up. one forgets what was lost over time.

I would be very interested in an in-game feature that displays rankings. The game seemed so much more dynamic back in the day.

How did genie get all the info? A lot of people have all their public info hidden.

Blah blah, its called the news bar. that scrolling bar tells all even if your secrecy settings are set to hidden. plus you can kinda tell by some of the ranks and numbers that are never hidden. Also back then people would give info out and federations were active in many more aspects of the game and politics, which tends to get old if its role playing that holds no value, takes too much time for the avg player, and causes the group to always have drama.

I remember being asked my feds stats and tracking them many times of course this is years ago. If it was in game it would be great, if we had to go back to the old system then it would be very time consuming for the avg player to want to spend time on the tracking and sharing of this info. It prob got discouraging and time consuming so he stopped doing it... along with others who used to post forum ranks of the federations on their planets.

I know what the newsbar is. That doesn't change the fact that a lot of people still have that hidden. I managed to figure out how he got the info and it has nothing to do with the newsbar or 'sharing' ;)

Now I just need to figure out how to process all the data.
