First Rugby Game

Had my first Rugby game earlier today but unfortunately lost it. The game ended 34-5 for the opposition. The try came from me woohoo, it was piss pouring for the first 40/70 minutes of the game. My next game is Wednesday and I am actually hoping that it will rain again as we have no protection so dirt will tear our skin up.

For anyone that doesn't know, all you wear in Rugby is the Jersey, shorts, spandex, socks, and cleats and play in all weather except for lightning.
1 try = 5 points.
1 field goal = 2 points.

Rugby is a great game shame you lost but you cant win them all isn't there an optional leather hat of sorts we have a rugby team here in key west we usually play English teams when one of there ships are in port sometimes we play other European teams when they come to the states on vacation. We are not an official league so we just play friendly's (note I don't actually play myself)

Yes, but we don't use it and some people have the option of using a Scrum cap if they own one.

I don't care if someone wares one (Scrum cap) but years ago my old boss was playing a friendly in the Virgin islands I saw his scalp get ripped open big time from his fore head to his ear still has that scar to this day. Must say I still enjoyed the free trip had a good time except having to pretend I was concerned for my boss he was a bit of a dick.
