There are many gamemaster corporations on each world and most of them are running with profits.

These corporations are easy to grab and add to your enterprise. Up to 6 every hour or two.
We now see many being purchased.

Go fo it, as this is an opportunity for very fast growth on the enterprise.

Thats very nice and all. My only beef with buying GM corps nowadays is that they are rarly on sale. 4 years or so ago one could gobble up a corp for 50ish billion. Back thn that would be like 1/5 GC? A GM corp nowadays cost ~5GC.

Maybe is it possible for GM owned corps to tank a bit in value?

You are right but this is true for all the corporations in Simcountry.

Everyone wanted corporations to become more profitable and they are very profitable today.
as a result, their market value is up too.

We do think that you could purchase one at 250B and increase its value to 700B.

The default gamemaster corporations settings is not optimal but makes sure they keep alive.

In general, we expect market values to decline a bit over time with the on going slow decline in numbers.

As niai said i can understand you want players to buy the corps, but why would i want to buy corps that are at 500B to 1T

Even if it made 50B a month it would take me a long while to recover my profits. If you want to see them make a profit you should subsidize the prices. for a GM corp if you cut the prices to 1/4 of 1/3 there market value it be more appealing.
I'm saying this because this is a problem ive heard from new players.

they start CEOS with limited income and paying 100's of billions on a few corps isn't a good investment to them.

At 500B plus, don't buy them.
I said, there are many at 250B.

I suggest you subsidize them.
If they cost 250B, you should pay 1T. This goes for you only.

You earn 0.5B per game month or more, this is about 90B a month and it is 9% a month.

Others, at 250B, will have 30+% per month.

At this time, we see many of them being bought anyway.
I think the entire issue will become irrelevant.

You seemingly missed my ENTIRE point. What i was suggesting is that for new CEO's why not reduce the price. I can AFFORD to pay the current value, and your obviously dramatic attempt at increasing the price.

For me price is no concern as if you review YOUR records you can see that i buy regularly.

My point was to bring up the issue of "the price of corps vs money new players have." New player CEO start with how much money? They buy these corps and it sucks up a huge amount of money.
My suggestion was that if someone is 30 days on a New CEO give them a small discount.

It would in no way benefit a longer term player but allow a new player with limited assets, the ability to gain a more corps to help them start their enterprises.

+1 As long as that disscount is only for new players and not expanded to new Ceos of older players

I would say it would be 100% easier to give the truly new player more cash.

i do know of one guy, that for a while was making about a 1T a day, buying 100% shares of GM corps, and transferring the extra money out

lots of people do buy these corps, i even have people buying control of my public corps, both make me happy

i get the point that 1T is a bit much, for any one, new or old a like, and with out actually looking, i would wager that their are plenty of Cheapo corps that can be bought at 250B, and increased to 4 times that value,

its like we are demanding the GM to lower values, so that we can multiply our money, when there is plenty of opportunity, with out any need to molest prices

lol, but for the corps that are in the low range, by all means, buy those, fix them, and enjoy doing good business,

yeah, taking a look at the GM corps on LU, there are thousands, including the public corps, that with a little thought, theirs more potential money to be made buying shares, and private corps, that several players could ever spend.

i'd bet that that list of corps, offer an entire game of corp manipulation for several players that are only interested in that. if they where to think it through, and how to make it work, what to buy, and when. ectra

Well, I've found much more profitable in the past to buy new state corps in C3 countries. They were fully upgraded, there for the taking, and usually valued at 20B-100B (at least the ones I bought lol). I stopped doing that some time ago, since my enterprises are well over 600 corps each and I prefer to leave some room for my own country corps.

all these are opportunities and part of the game.
Manipulating the price for some players is not.

we will never change the price, and I would not know how to as it is computed, based on some factors, including the profit.

Rage Fury said it.
If we want to help beginners we should give them more cash.

we have increased these cash gifts several months ago and since then, the price of many products and general pricing in the game went lower and will continue to do so at a very slow pace.

the relative purchasing power of these gifts has increased and I am willing to look into them again and increase if the amounts are not large enough.
