Slaves and war

so im a free member which means that I can only own 2 countries. (my main and my slave) I currently have a slave so if I were to, lets say declare war against a human controlled country would I be able too? or would the game assume that my intent is to conquer the country and try to surpass the limit I have for 2 countries only?

simply put, would I have to cancel my slave to declare on someone?

I don't have any experiance specifically, but if you are only allowed one slave then your only allowed one slave. A conqured c3 or a conquered player country are both slaves. I'd imagine you'll have to pay, or cancel.

BTW, you can't play this game effectively as a free player, so you might as well pony up.

there was a time when 1st country was free for only first 30 days

You can have two countries.
if you want to fight again, you have to give up one of the countries and then be able to win another.
