Early October a feature was introduced that allows you to transfer population groups between countries in your empire.

Using the exchange of workers between countries in your empire you can now move workers without balancing the numbers or salaries of the exchanged groups.

This means that you can move up to 200.000 workers each game month, selected as you wish for, from one country to another.

I've been using this lately Andy and there was still a need to match salaries. Forgive me if I misunderstood.

Just to add a suggestion as we're on the topic here. Could we have the ability to buy specific workers for GC's? Just like buying pop but without all the other worker types that come with?

I have terrible employment issues with 10's of million of llw's. Buying more pop would just compound the problem. The ability to buy say HTE's only would be a nice feature?

Could be a good way to earn more cash for SC?

It sounds more like you need to tune your education.
is your education index 200+
Are you balancing the education priorities to prevent shortages in any of the groups?

If you take care of these two issues, your shortages will just disappear.

we have considered adding such a function but then we are solving another problem with gold coins, making it easier for players with more money.

Please let me know how the education is in your country.

country name and world will help too. I could look into it.

My education could be better but even if it was high it would take a long time. I know how to fix it but I wouldn't mind spending GC for instant results. I'm not the patient type.

In that case, increase the education to 300.
At least until the problem is solved.

We may add the function but not very soon and your problem can be solved either by a very high education or by transfer of workers from other countries. Use the exchange function.
It is very easy now within the empire.

A good measure of unemployment specifics is to see what workers are needed for a well balanced corp, like services or mining. Ht requires too much education and construction needs too many low lvl workers so I don't measure by their standards just to measure employment balance. When u see some required workers are in the red, don't build the corp and just raise the ed priories for which ever is lacking. Keep the priorities balanced at 120, no more or less.

Lucky,

I tried and I needed to "Balance" by putting 1 or 2 in one of the groups.
I am sorry about it.

we will remove this tomorrow morning.
you can now move 200.000 and "balance" by 2.
