Andy, why on earths name have you blocked Knome Y Peng from the forum?? He has become a decent and committed member to this game, let alone the forum. Yes he may challenge you on various topics but he generally asks what a lot of people are thinking, that's why he is an asset to us on here. I find that rather annoying you have blocked him.

He has now accused you now of trying to silence him. Like many he feels that you are ignoring a lot of issues and don't want long time players. I quote:

"He has had and agenda against raiding and large empires from the start"

"Andy is afraid of being told the truth"

Andy / GM I don't want an argument, more aless a sensible answer to why Knome has been blocked. He is really really annoyed by this, a premium member should have access to the full game, he has done nothing wrong that I am aware of.

Id also like to see a response. The ban on Khome is a bit outrageous, in my opinion.

We love criticism. Constructive criticism resulted in a lot of what we have in the game today.

When a player starts publishing rude comments, including misleading information we call it a day.

We will continue doing so as we did from the start of Simcountry.

The forum is reserved for players who are conducting themselves in a normal way, watch their language and never offend anyone.

he is not vulgar as far as i can see... perhaps he has posted some misleading info as many have done but that is no reason to ban someone

Obviously we have seen what we have seen and decided it is unacceptable.

It is essential for all of us that such players are removed form the forum.

We really intend to keep it decent.

Andy obviously has a problem with favoritism.... if he was non biased i would be banned and khome would be here... as it is Andy totally thinks I'm the shit

I have no idea what you are talking about.

we have a very strong principle here of forgetting the past incidents. these can only create a negative atmosphere.
once an incident is over, nothing is left of it.

We make a point of not thinking about who did what and I have no idea how many of the players here have been banned from the forum in the past.

Free Knome Y Peng. He gets banned for asking questions and you disagree with something he said that you thought was misleading. Yet how many times have you let Lenpeat and all his clones completely spam the forum with all their nonsense and even going into the beginners section and telling new players all sorts of stupid and dangerous information and advice when those new players did not know they were just spamming the forum. OK I know I am banned now but let Knome back in. I will take his place in the forum political prison. A prisoner exchange.

Andy, first I would like to thank you for respecting my post and answering the question to your ability. As you can see here, we all agree Knome is a good asset to have in the forum as well as else where!

I understand your point of view, however I would seriously recommend a warning system be put in place. To just suddenly out right ban someone causes anger, which in turn could also have a negative effect on yourself. Fair enough if someone posts racist words or something that serious then hec ban them in one. But I feel you should consider freedom of speech here to some extent, although a message may be hostile to you or the game, as long as it is not rude or highly offensive, it would be classed as criticism, one that may not be viewed as constructive.. but one you as the GM could construct from. I am talking about rising above players who may come across as inconsiderate or other minor offences via text talk. You are not fools, I am more than

This is nonsense.
we have banned Len Peat and blocked his IP number many times and he kept coming back with different names and different IP numbers.

We kept blocking them and by now he probably ran out of IP numbers.

If he comes back we will block him again.

But he was much better that others we recently banned.

He has spread nonsense words but never wrong information to confuse others. It was very clear that it is not serious.
I am very sorry in fact for having to ban him but we could not have all these messages that were mostly not harmful but were all over the place.

he might be a wise gentleman but he made it difficult for us to keep him here.
