PvP. The Missing Element

There have been different ideas about encouraging PvP but there is one element the I believe has been overlooked. That is that the rewards of the game are largely achieved in isolation from the community. Empires are built with funds conquered from the computer. Competition for coins in rankings does not occur because of the score penalty.

What is needed is another outlet for rewards that has players that win and players that lose. Rewards that are won by stepping on someone toes.
