Anyone else seeing issues with their population and workforce in their countries?

I have had an issue for the past couple of weeks after building a few schools. The schools were built but I am showing teachers and workers required (with no schools currently on order). This is leading me to questioning the numbers I am showing in my unemployed population under education priorities. I shift workers around to increase HLW (which is always low) enough to increase hiring in the companies that are not 100%. For the past two or three days however, the number of unemployed and needed workers keeps increasing as if I do not have workers in a category.

I have generally, in the past, opened a company in the country when able and let pop growth fill the jobs until the company was at 100%. Now, I am unable to use that process even when I show enough workers in every category to fill positions.

This happens when you order schools or universities etc. then cancel them.
the pending numbers are not cleared.
I will have it cleared tomorrow.

You should also realize that the upgrading of corporations that is going on all the time, causes changes in the numbers needed.
less workers needed, and more professionals.

In general, tune your education to increase hiring in corporations to 100%.
only when you get to full employment in all your corporations, you can add a new corporation.
preferably when you have the workers you need.

Corporations at 100% hiring are much more profitable than ones with lower hiring because the monthly fixed cost is the same with full hiring and partial hiring.

Andy,

Thank you for clearing the numbers.

As far as the other issue, all the corps I had in that country were mature and fully upgraded (even the one I had to move). When I said that I had enough workers in each category to fill positions, I had over 10,000 unemployed HLW after moves (which was the low worker category). LLW and MLW both had over 20,000 in each category. In each professional category most of them had more unemployed than needed.

Now, however, the corporations are hiring again and my unemployment rate is lowering again so the issue is resolved at least for now.

There is indeed an additional factor but it is small.

corporations are becoming larger.
each week or so, some types hire 1000 or 2000 more people.

If you have 10 of these corporations, you might see 20000 workers disappearing.

We are forced to continue to increase the size of corporations.
population is growing in all the worlds and cause an increase in the number of corporations.
this will slow us down and make it harder for players to manage their economy.

This process is nearly completed.
