Questions about MOBILE units:
1. I create the units below from spare parts in my MAIN country
2. I upgrade - and place next to my close slave - if Slave is attacked - does the Mobile auto respond?
3. If I move 6 Mobile units to my Slave - so Slave now owns them - and Slave is attacked - do all 6 respond?
4. If I have a distant slave, does my Main country have to build an airport in my slave, and land a Mobile of each type, to have them suto respond if the Slave is attacked? Do all Mobile types auto respond? Can more than one auto respond?
Thanks - Adrian

Post Script - 5. If I have 7 Slaves and each has a MOBIL and one Slave is attacked - will All 7 Slave Mobile units respond? ................................................................... ........................................ 6. LENDING Mobiles - Are they considered owned by Lending country - so only one responds? Or are they considered owned by Borrowing country - so all borrowed Mobile units respond?

The Mobile units can be lent to the country. Response to attacks depends on Federations. If you slave is not in a fed with your main Mobile units from your main or other units for that matter will not respond. If you lend the units to your slave they will be maintained and supplied by the slave. So the slave must have in it's arsenal all the needed bombs and replacement troops. If you have a distant slave where the auto response is not within range, and you have this country under a fed protection, then having a depot in the slave makes sense because resupply is slow unless you have ground supply and local supplies and they don't have to fly 6000 miles. Supply this way is very very slow. So a depot with lots of ammo types that you need would be a good idea. Having your Empire's slaves in your fed is a good idea for auto response. Someone please correct me if I have this wrong.

T mac is moslty right.

Troops auto respond when your slaves are in the same fed as your main.

Mobile units are no exception. But mobile units can be loaned out to slaves who are not in your fed. If your slave who is not in your fed but does have a mobile unit is attacked the mobile unit wil respond but only the one that is owned by the slave.

Only Mobile Air will respond as part of the fed. Mobile land defence will not respond if they don't not belong to the country being attacked.
