if any of you have heard, the radical Islamic militant group known as ISIS has done something that I just cant ignore now. They recently destroyed ancient Assyrian artifacts in Mosul dating as far back as 700 BC. They shattered and pulverized everything from head-sized statues to huge relics and many, many more priceless pieces of ancient art. I have no words. How could a group that stones women, burns men, beheads innocents, and throws homosexuals off buildings exist in the 21st Century. I only hope that the world shows them what we really think about their "Islamic State"... and if we aren't brave enough to take care of them, then I hope that Karma does the job.

As for the ancient art, the buildings are probably gone, forever, they might be reconstructed, might be an initiative to recollect photos of the sight and rebuild it, maybe. But they are priceless, and will serve as a symbol to what these people really do stand for.

The artifacts are either destroyed or going to be sold. Jokes on them for some, as a few of them were actually replicas.
