So I had conquered my last available C3 neighbor to raid. now that I depleted this country of resources, I naturally let it go. and luckily, I thought, one of my inactive neighbors had "quit" and his country was going to be available to conquer soon, thus giving me 2 direct neighbors. but of course I wake up this morning and the c3 I let go has been occupied by a new player. and the best part is, I can tell that he, like ALL of the players in my region, are going to remain inactive. they just sit there for 100 game years doing absolutely nothing at all. its like a sad joke. now im being choked out by inactive players and im back at one possible c3 neighbor, hoping that dosent get taken up too. obiously the game is programed to do this because there are hundreds of free countries but the new players get put in the recently abandoned ones. please change this major flaw in the game.

I have posted a raiding guide to the Beginner's forum. It should solve these issues for you.

The Country of Marana requests $2T in Security Council aid. It's listed as a C-3. Am I missing something? Is there a lag or a space loop? I'm often wrong, is this country recently taken? It has 3 votes for.

Why do you need a country next to you to raid? Are there not countries within 1000 miles that you can raid?

This is odd, because when I started, I had my pick of countries to run. It wasn't picked for me.
Seems to me, you're just sitting on what looks like prime real estate. Only after people play for a while do they realize that the real estate itself means almost nothing.
I never understood why they made a totally landlocked country with nothing but mountainous terrain produce the same amount of fish, wheat, and dairy as a nation on the ocean, or one as flat as a pancake. But noobs like me don't know that until we get into the game. Too late, I could have picked something with nobody around me.
I have 1 neighbor, he doesn't talk much.
