just fought a war against a c3 (war level 2), on FB. as of now I still haven't taken the country. the reason being, a bug. I was able to bring down the war index to .80 but it wouldn't move after that. I kept on using more and more attacks which cost me a lot so far. then suddenly the index jumped to 4.00 and still isn't moving. please address this problem. as of now I don't know what im going to do with all the money down the drain from this war.

update: war index actually moved from 4.00 to 4.40 after another attack.

I see what country you are attacking, it looks it has only part occupied. Try to reoccupy some area as the enemy supply units will remove the occupy paint, raising the war index. Max is 25 points from occupying and looks like you should have enough to cover 4.40, just move a unit into the country and paint it . Once it has been painted alot or check "how to win this war" and see if theres anymore points for occupation which is near the bottom of the small page. After that attack a towns defense(has no defense and will not use weapons and will update the index instantly, other targets like it work to) and it will say you have won the war.

after painting everything, index moved even more to 4.80. I would actually like for the GM to help me out with this if they can.

You can view the current war index, including painting, by selecting the link on left side of the war console. This is important in general to see your progress towards victory. It is important to note that the war must end with an attack even if painting adds damage points sufficient for victory. If you have added sufficient points through painting, you can even launch an attack against an undefended target, where no shots are exchanged, and end the war.
