With all the recent attacks and rise of right wing nationalism, alt rights and etc. I feel like we're in for a good amount of drama. All we need is just to sit back with sunglasses and watch it all pop off.

I'm a hillary supporter, but I kinda want to see what WW3, mass deportation, mass incarceration would look like under Trump. I can finally tell stories to my future grandkids.

Real life is too peaceful. Crime is going down everywhere around the world. We need a catalyst to start shit again.

I am conservative, and in the past 6 months I've been leaning more and more towards conservatism after doing more research on it and seeing in real time what left wing policy does to countries. I do not support Donald Trump either, he is not a conservative and he is going to destroy the republican party if he takes office. He is making republicans look vulgar. Which they are not. The sad part is that the republican party themselves are accepting some things from the democratic party because a minority of "pussified" youth get offended by inequality based on production.

If you believe Hillary would make world war 3 less likely that makes no sense. She's always been a supporter of Obamas wars. Trump didn't support Obama's, or Bush's wars. That's one thing I can trust about Trump. I also believe in his mind, he is helping America and he cares for the country. I don't think he would knowingly purposely do something that would hurt the country.

Right-wing nationalism is the result of left-wing policy in those countries. The left keeps pushing its agenda on the right and that creates the alt right. Which is making true conservatism look bad. Conservatives don't want to be governed. It's that simple.

@Zen, I think Hillary will just continue on using drone strikes against weaker countries where terrorists would be bombed. And could you tell me what wars Obama started? Both Libya and Syria were a result of the citizens overthrowing its government. Hillary is just a clone of Obama and will keep things the way they are currently.

But currently, Trump pissed off every single one of our allies. Even Israeli's PM Netanyahu condemned him. Our european counterparts and Canada can't stand him. Especially with his comments on NATO.

Of course, I don't think Trump would purposefully hurt the country. He's already a billionaire married to a hot chick, and the last check on his bucket list is to become a President of the US and make this country "great again" (And what time period would that be?)

@Eugene The rise of neo nazi groups.

We funded those wars, so we were a part of those wars. I guess bombing terrorists( and civilians )is what we should be spending our taxpayer money on. The same terrorists our country funded and radicalized. The United States is trying to force Russia to increase military spending by setting up more battalions and missile defenses in Poland and other european countries bordering Russia. These are Obamas decisions to "Make NATO stronger" If Russia takes the bait the country will become even worse economically and then the United States will come in diplomatically and try to force the break up of Russian states. That is the underlying goal here. We have been in an economic war against Russia for some time. The United States have been the aggressors. A lot of european countries like Germany, Italy, and France don't want economic sanctions on Russia. They want to trade freely with Russia and make money with Russia. Russia has no intention on increasing its military spending or increasing its influence in these countries. There are a large number of Ukrainians who want the country to be united with Russia. We do not live there, we don't have a say in what Russia does.

The reality is that the United States is no stronger than Russia, because both countries can destroy eachother within a few hours. Which is why no matter how much stronger our military becomes we can not go to war with Russia or China. Nuclear threat is the reason every single country that is not the United States have decreased military spending. There is no need for any first world country to have a large military since the biggest threat is untrained terrorist organizations and rebellions.

What's cheaper, a few thousand nuclear missile silos or billions of ammunition, millions of bombs and missiles, thousands of tanks, ships, planes, helicopters, and weapons platforms..? This is why I don't trust Hillary Clinton and believe she doesn't have American safety as her first priority. Which is every governments main priority. To protect its citizens and keep law&order. Helping overthrow third world governments has nothing to do with our safety. Yes, we are the world police. However I still don't think we should tell other countries how to govern themselves. This may be the 21st century but the land of freedom is restricting the freedom of other governments to do what they want. That's like me saying hey you're communist and I dont like that. Let me force you into a democratic country by killing thousands of your soldiers. Which are just civilians in military clothing because those countries can not afford a trained army.

The goal for the united states is to in the end destroy russia. Either economically or by nuclear strike. That's the truth. I don't believe the propaganda our country sets up about Russia. Also, I don't blame anyone in the military either. I have high respect for people in the military, I have friends my age in USAF and the Marines. None of them like what our politicians are making them do. They signed up to defend freedom and the american people, not kill people in the middle east by remote control.

I don't like Trump either, but I think his positive attitude towards Russia is a good thing. Even if our media tries to make it out as if he is being paid by the Russians. The Clinton News Network or CNN has been biased towards Trump on television and Facebook for months. Every single day I get on facebook I have to see more of CNNs lies.

I love the United States, I also like Russia a lot as well. I hope in the future our two countries will become more friendly towards each other. I have a few Russian friends on Xbox I talk to every now and then, they seem like pretty cool guys and have no hatred towards me being an American, even after our country constantly puts Russia down. Trump being friendly towards Russia is one of the best things in my opinion. It makes his supporters like Russia more as well and I believe he and Putin can get along. Hillary will just be a nagger and keep nagging Russia to the point they drop a nuke or five hundred on Europe.

Well the reason why the EU wants to continue and bring back trade with Russia is b/c the EU needs this trade of more industrial substances and material that the Russians have almost no problem of destroying their environment in non populated areas. And If you didn't know the EU actually agreed to longer the Sanctions on Russia that were to end in June I believe to end in 2017 instead. Us in Germany had a somewhat friendly relationship to Russia and have been a major importer and exporter to Russian trade.

I dont understand this shit about "Race War" b/c humanity is not majority or major minority fucking retarded rassist idiots who believe that Black people hate white people, Asians hate whites, Persians are war mongering terrorists, Europa is for only whites, Africa for blacks, Asia for Asians, then contradict themselves because they'll say, America for whites or some shit when white Americans weren't a thing until 1500/1600. And it seems as if American believe that what is happening in America means that it is the same for the rest of the world or in Western Nations.

Well that's not the case, and noone is that fucking stupid to allow A FUCKING "LEADER" (dictator) To end the Fate of Humanity just to show another nation that they are "stronger" even though proving that would be suicide. There will always be pockets of resistance for every extreme out there and when it reaches those levels, Coups are born *cough *cough. Got some turkey stuck in my throat there.

I am a huge supporter of Trump and I don't believe that a WW3 would happen because of him. America is the most powerful nation in the world and could easily destroy the world if it wanted. However our current gov has displayed so much weakness time and time again over the last few decades that the world doesn't believe in the power of America anymore. The world has learned that the "bear" that they are poking constantly is dead and unresponsive and so they can do whatever they want to us, literally. Trump just wants to show the world we are still strong, smart, and powerful. That we will defend ourselves rather then pay them to kill us. He wants to make America great in the eyes of the world again.

Now on to the race war topic. What is happening is that people are getting worked up over incidents where a cop shot a black man in self-defense. Blacks and liberals are calling the entire police force of the country racist over this. Though groups such as "Black Lives Matter" are saying that the entirety of Whites are racist. They are violently rioting in cities across America and causing lots of damage. In retaliation several people, all black as far as I know (I'm not sure), attacked and killed something like a dozen police so far. All these people were however criminals exacting revenge for being prisoned for their crimes as well as the racism thing. I believe that if half the country continues rioting and accusing whites of being racist for such ridiculous reasons at this rate the blacks will attempt to wage a full out race war against the whites. The whole cops shooting blacks out of so called "racism" is just a excuse for them to do whatever they want and to wage a race war. There is a new group called the "New Black Panthers" for crying out loud. They obviously want a war and plus, the liberals are supporting them as much as possible. The liberals are so loyal to the blacks that if the blacks told them to kill themselves they would definitely do it. That would be something like 100 million or more people. Not all of the blacks are racist of coarse but most of them are. I'd say something like 99% of them are racist towards whites now. So yea, I'm pretty sure there will be a full on race war by the end of next year. I just hope that the whites when or they will all die, including me since I'm white, in a massive genocide carried on by the blacks and muslims.

Monday, August 8, 2016 - 06:45 pm Click here to edit this post
It didn't used to be so bad though. There use to be very few blacks who are racist towards whites. probably less then 1% at one time but now the liberals have gotten them all fired up because they constantly call whites racist. They say for example that if a white cop shoots a black man in ANY situation, that he's racist. even if that black man were to have something a extreme as a nuke that he was going to detonate in a major city and had some kind of handheld mini-gun and juggernaut armor and was shooting at the cop. All the media is run by these liberals so everyday the blacks get a shitload of bullshit saying whites are all racist. So I don't really blame the blacks at all for their hatred. I blame the liberal piles of shit that run our government, news, and just about everything else.

You really think we could get the people who want to kill us more mad at us? Doubt it.
You might say it's the people who don't want to kill us now but if we haven't gotten them that mad in the past, Trump won't. Have more people been mad at Russia because what Putin says and they now have more terrorists? No.
People who get mad at what Trumps says miss the point of him saying it - free media coverage, his name in front of everyone (because name recognition is number 1 in politics), all so he didn't have to spend money in the campaign. And the media continues to oblige.

T_T Is that what Americans really think.... NOT ALL OF THE WORLD HATES AMERICA, You want to know what made us, Germans the most powerful and rich in Europe (BIP/GDP) and even one of the most liked countries in the world. Because we became progressive, we saw a wall terring us apart, and then when the time came to take advantage of the Soviets "rule". We United, not even CARING what had changed between us. Their learning systems were focused on Russian and German, We didnt care, We just wanted to move together and be one Nation. It slowed our growth for a few years, but when the EU came in and united Europe with 1 single Currency, I remember getting rid of my Deutsche Mark and trading in for Euros, we Europeans wanted to Move from our Isolationist past and move into a peacful United Europe which all together has the Largest Economy in the World with great growth and recovery from the 2008 Recession. You cant just isolate yourselves and ignore any single Nation in the world. Because, chances are, that Nation has something that you dont have and they have something that you have enough of to give to them, That is Globalisation in a nutshell.

Moving away from this is economically and socially suicidal.

^^^^ THATS YOUR FUCKING PROBLEM T_T YOU ARE NOT THE ONLY HUMANS ON THIS FUCK DUST PARTICLE OF PREEJACULATION. Putting 1 Country first at the expense of sacrificing economies around the world just to ensure oneself if they are "ok" huh, well you know who thinks like that psychologically, Who SHUTS themselves off from the world thinking that itd be better to think to them selves and be by themselves? Depressed Animals and People, If that is not healthy psychologically then why would it be ok for a nation, which is suppose to be the Voice of a People, and an Idea. That is also a condition called Narcissism (Patriotism), or being a Snobby asshole whom thinks they are the MOST important and that they have some sort of lead in everything in the world and constantly use that reason to fight against all odds to get "back in that position". That is ALSO NATIONALISM at a softer pace.... Both WW were started by Nationalism btw.

A touchy subject in Germany, being too patriotic in Germany is not normal. Having pride is. Having too much of that "us first" shit is not normal, dont do it. If you want a good example/examples of Globalization? Ok....

The EU, Germany and France have always had a rivalry and have went to wars many times, alot of the Time was for the area Alsace (Elsass) Which was a part of HRR (HRE), ((Which btw is a smaller scale of the Evolution of Globalization. France just didnt appear on a map, they realized that they had a similar culture and lived relatively close to each other and align between each other, that is also what the HRR did creating unions and alliances that would benefit from trade and bettering human civilization for centuries over. This is just a new evolution stage of Globalization, and people get cut just as in normal evolution who are deemed unfit for the next stage.)) If we had leaders like that in Germany, we'd probably wouldn't exist, we hated the french, (and we somewhat still do) but now we are great friends (shocking ikr wonder what happened, *gasp*, you dont say, this Globalization thing could actually be peaceful :O too... well fuck me...)

Isolation creates wars, just as in a normal human, people who are isolated become hostile towards others whist in some cases using self-harm, is that really fucking normal to you?
Want another example... Look up Feral/isolated Humans and Animals and you shall see the true path of isolationism. ^.^

I'll even go a step further.... North Korea, more than half of their population is starving and/or not eating health amounts of food and clean drinking water because they LIMIT themselves to THEMSELVES.

*News Flash If you did't know, Globalization is for this Pre-cum planet we call home and the people on it, not some land mass that carries an idea with a flag.

**Also your chance to put your country first was when is was created just as any other nation in the world, unless Trump supporters plan on some dictatorial revolution. Makes me laugh tbh and us Germans have a past of isolationism which led to COUNTLESS wars between ourselves in the early days then with everyone else when we realized that we should be fighting together.

Be fucking civilized lel

How, what reality am I missing. People want to see America "#1" again, people want jobs and better care and security. I find it funny how a politition (mostly american ones) twist the truth from 1 or 2 words or get the FEELING of SOME PEOPLE (Keyword: FEELING) that things arent ok and they preach that shit throughout their whole entire political carreer, but the facts say way different from what these FEELINGS are. These feelings are as real as my love for some girl I saw in Nahkauf the other day or as real as Kim Kardashians ass, they are there but they are NOT REAL THEY ARE FEELINGS NOT FACTS. Job rates are rising, Economic Growth for america is slow just as in ALREADY ADVANCED NATIONS, And if you want someone to blame blame those retards who were at fault for the 2008 ressesion, if you want to make things better for yourself and your "legacy" invent something and motivate yourself to search across your region for opportunity and what YOU WAN TO DO. Dont sit and wait. That is reality, this is YOUR life dont let feelings of doubt and false hope bring you down all because some loud mouths in politics are Fueling these feelings.

Globalization gives jobs, actually fight for your vote in what you want by contacting members of your Legislative Govt. Dont sit and watch Fox CNN BBC ITV Tagesschau Prosieben France1 and let their journalism predict how you participate in Politics.

The World is doing Great, The world Economy is rising rapidly because people around the world are taking advantage of this Globalization.

You want to hear a story, well when I was 8 years of age, my mother was looking for a job and then instead of getting the job she wanted, a Polish woman ( think it was a man i dont remember) took her spot, she didnt get angry, nor was she disappointed, she just said to my father (bc he was mad at first) that it takes time and that it is best that this (person) got that job than me because they will need it more than I do. And Some shit like "I should be proud to see that they are taking advantage of the no border policy in the EU because they are fleeing poverty" My Gymnasium IT is fucking Romanian and he knows everything about the Computer.

These are smart workers who want jobs, they are aspiring to get where they want to be and for their family. The same thing happens in America but American politcs are fucking like a Drama Reality show tbh... The US should have became a Parlament and this shit wouldnt have happened.

And look at what the EU has done for European economies. They are falling apart and they apart from Greece are letting in as many "refugees" as they possibly can who will NOT leave and go back to the middle east. This will be the finishing blow to Europe's economy.

I think America should stick to itself but destroy any and all threats to it's security. Anyone declare war on us like the jihadists, we take them out. We are more then capable of doing so.

Your comment about a parliament doesn't make sense because a parliament is a democratic system that's basically the same thing as our democratic system.

By eliminating the families of the terrorists(not including homegrown terrorist's families unless family proven to have assisted with terror), we prevent terrorists from being made because then there would no one to become a terrorist except from home. We just kill most if not all of the muslims living in the middle at the moment. True American ones (muslims who have been born in America at least two generations down of mulsim families who have lived in the U.S. for two or more generations) can be left alone. No offense is meant towards those. Mulsims who don't meet these requirements should go through vigorous tests to determine if they can be trusted. The reason for this is in case they have come here radicalized or are radicalized via their parents. The other reason for all this is because the jihad, the complete and utter genocide of all nonmulims by mulim hands, is literally half of their religion. Any mulims who don't follow this belief should not be classified as mulims because this difference between the ones who do and the ones who don't follow the jihad is so large that they just can't be classified as the same religion. I think there's a pretty big difference between "I will kill you!" and "I'm peaceful and will help you" and whatever.

Also the whole world is not all fun and games, not all peaceful. Not all human beings are good. In fact 80% or more are pure evil and sin. There are many humans who deserve to die and who would love to kill you and everyone else on this retched planet. It is the mentality that no human is evil and that everyone just simple makes mistakes and should never be kill is exactly what will get you kill. If our government and all the European governments don't stop following this mentality and being such unbelievable wusses, EVERYONE on the Earth WILL die. judging from your posts Ãster Schwan you would love everyone in the world to stomp you and your country to death. I sure if one of our enemies such as a muslim told to jump off a cliff, you would skip and squeal with joy to do so. If told you to do that however, you would spit back in my face. In other words you are directing rage at the WRONG people. Your own people, your family, your country, and us Americans. Then you are begging the muslims, Russians, you name it, to pour into your country and burn it, your family and you alive. Of coarse you are especially hoping for us Americans to burn because WE are telling the truth, WE true Americans want and will do something about it, and because of this WE will survive, NOT you wussy fagent liberals.

Hillary Clinton is not just a liar, she is a traitor to our country. She has committed treason by pretty much directly giving classified military and government info to Russia, China, and North Korea, and she did it on purpose. She knew what was classified and what wasn't. She did that because she, like ALL liberals, absolutely HATES this country. She wants to see it burn and our enemies victorious. The reason why the worthless piece of shit FBI director told the supreme court not to press charges was because the government, which is entirely controlled by liberals except for trump, payed him to say that and because that asshole hates trump and wants Hillary to win so he's trying to help her win. Hillary should be behind bars not behind a podium.

Wait wait wait wait.... 1st Priority.) Killing innocent family members of terrorists, how does that sound like any good idea and people who think like that shouldnt be able to vote O.O.

2.) The EU has not been failing overall economically, growth has been slow, Ever since 2008 after the resession. Just as most other countries around the world who were affected by it majorly.

3.) So you are saying 80% of the Human population is "evil". First of all, where is your proof and sources, two, have you ever been outside of your house, yet alone your country if you did you would notice that the 80% shit is straight BS. that means that 5.953.984.760 Billion people, including children, babies (infants), average people. Are evil or with sin.... Test this "Theory" yourself since you seemed to have created it by yourself, Walk outside with a smile and say hello to your neighbours (if you have any) if they look at you and dont say anything then that is 1/10 by far and if the remaining nine do the same you have a percentage, however, THAT IS YOUR NEIGHBOURHOOD/ COMMUNITY NOT the WORLD...

4.) European wusses, hahaha funny. btw we dont let anyone into Europe, the migrant crisis is not new, the only reason that terrorism is seemingly becoming more frequent, it is but not in Western nations as you would think. This is not the worst terrorism has EVER been, The terrorists target their areas to spread Terror to convince people that they are the only way to get their lives back to a normal state would be through them, convince the others that they are on the wrong side using violence and radical ideas. The radical Islamic terrorists, They mostly target and have targeted OTHER MUSLIMS they periodical spread into Christian nations and even Buddhist and Hindu. There have been terror attacks in all major nations at some point.

5.) A Parlementary govt is different btw, If a parlament was in the US then Trump would have never became a candidate. In a Parlement there are multiple parties thay people can choose to relate to and in Germany we vote for two parties, and whom ever the 2 most voted for becomes a "Koalition" which is where they join together to act as the will of the people. There are Republicans and Democrats in America, not as in a parlement like here, CDU/CSU (They are in a Koalition) SDP, die Grüne aka die Linke, Bündnis 90 and there are other parties that can be created if the become organised and recognized by enough people.

6.) This is Trump you are talking about, a man whose words can mean anything and in the real world, is interpreted wrong, lets say by a hostile foreign power, then they can and will find and do anything to get back at your country by looking into weaknesses.

7.) You seem to forget that Europe is the Goddess of war (the continent) through history, we have been at war with eachother for ages, then we finally get our shit together, it works, then a bunch of loud ass right-wing patriots start getting angry and do the most to deceive and corrupt people into thinking that they are on 1 piece of land that can conquer the world. And use the fallout of world economies as fuel to their argument.(Even it was from irresponsible market people in New York and not any ordinary person)

This isolationist trend has happend in history too many times. BUT THESE PATRIOTS ACT AS IF SHIT NEVER HAPPEND. And they ALWAYS have lead to War, ever since Globalization, this has been the MOST PEACEFUL ERA of Humanity.

8.) I just have 1 question for you rjwiles, you do not seem sane at all, especially after what you said about terrorist families. And you seem to not have any basis on Reality. You are one of those people that hear about these feelings and your brain just jumps on that isolationist bandwagon and has no belief in FACTS and Actual CREDIBLE Trends, and that is what is wrong with you Populist-Patriotic- Isolationist- Conservatives.

You know, "politics" is not the answer but the problem. If you can buy up the whole congress and stop all good means for money under the table, politics can be corrupted completely, and because of that fact, politics are corrupted at maximun, just because it is possible.

I dont want "politics", I want real solutions based on common sense, and you simply dont find common sense in the worlds parliaments today, it simply does not exists there. The real mega-rich people control this earth, they are the real rulers, not our so-called elected representatives, blindly do whatever these rich people tell them to do.

And what I am trying to Explain is Common Sence. Things dont change overnight but one must work with the system in place to actually make change. If you dont like the Democrat Nom. or Republican Nom. There are other options, choose.

And trust me there are people THAT ignorant in the world and that what makes them human, they have their own opinions however these opinions are very immoral to the big picture.

The rich just work for their families not to control the rest of the world, if that were the case, half the human population would die off in just 3 decades.

And in Parlaments you can have the people from all Province, Small village or town, come to state what the people feel if is big enough but all people want to do is vent on the internet and not actually act upon there govts. Instead of posting shit here or on Facebook or some shit, email a representative or MP or something. Spam their shit, get in contact in any and everyway if it is THAT important.

Johanas, you're forgetting that what happens in other parts of the world affects us directly or indirectly.

What happens in the EU would affect our economy and our stability as well as our standing in the world.

If Russia invaded the EU or NATO countries, we would see huge market crashes and job losses here in the US. Most often than not, the best interests of the UN, EU and the globalist movement is also in our best interests. Playing simcountry, you should know this already well enough.

If nukes and wars were to occur, shortages may occur and your corps wouldn't receive the same supplies that they need and your prospects wouldn't be good, now would it?

Same thing applies in real life. Also, it's ignorant to say forget about protecting our allies, and etc. even if they're invaded. Because who cares, right?

What if I was to land on your continent, and region and then slowly started taking up every single other C3s except for you?

Would you feel nice having a large empire that's eyeing your country?

Oster Schwan, It is just simply my opinion. I respect your opinion and I do see why you have said some of the things you have said. I don't care however if you don't respect my opinion though. It is our differences that make us human, can bring us together, and can tare us apart. You can hate me and I can hate you, but it's what we actually strive to do that matters in the end. Besides the whole idea that humans just make mistakes but there is no such thing as evil is one of your major beliefs, is it not? But I do belive most of the world is evil though. You can't honestly tell me that 80% of the world, obviously not including infants, doesn't walk outside every morning thinking at some point about all the people they hate, all the people they want to kill, or even planning to kill other people. I think that no matter what we do anyway, an apocalypse like the Great Flood is comeing. Likely gonna be a nuclear war or something like that. You can hate me, call me crazy, and ignore me all you want but I will not change this view, ok? but if you threaten my family directly I will kill you.Humanity has never had any true control over the world nor it's self and is doomed to self-destruction no matter what. All you can do is delay the inevitable. I think though why wait? Why not just send all the evil pieces of shit down to hell already and bring the good ones up to heaven. I don't care if I go to hell because if I did go to hell, I obviously deserved it. God doesn't make mistakes. I just ask that he take my family into heaven. And again I don't care you don't believe any of this. You'll just go to hell and I couldn't care less for your retched life. I'm a proud Christian. This end times is called the rapture in which the few thousand or so people who actually deserve something as wonderful as heaven, which most likely does not include me nor you, will go to heaven and all those left behind on earth will be tortured for 1,000 heaven, which are obviously much longer then our earth years, by the devil and his minions. Earth will basically turn into hell. heaven time is obviously longer then earth time because God created the earth in 7 heaven days which turned out to be more like 7 billion earth years. After this 1,000 year period God and Jesus will destroy the devil, his minions, and earth completely. Jesus will then make a new earth where all those who went to heaven will live for eternity. So criticize my religion and the truth all you want but it will not change anything. You people just can't accept the truth. However I, unlike the muslims will NOT force my religion apon you. Think about that.

You know, a new player on Fearless Blue decided to plop his empire on my borders. He had all of Fearless Blue to sit down on. There are entire empty sub-continents on Fearless Blue but no. He sits right next to some guy with almost 700T military assets. Where I was planning to expand my empire. Sadness fills my heart.

This has nothing to do with the thread just ranting :3

Fucking beautiful way to end this.... A religious nut whom thinks normal people who that think a normal thought about something unusual or bothering to their perspective are evil/ sinners. Yup, might as well send all Humanity to hell all for what a century old outdated book states instead of actually having a normal life like a normal person.

And we have had control control of governments, how do you think the NRA can do what they want to stop Gun Legeslation? Because they are Gun Lovers whom believes in that 2nd amendment shit. But here is the part that makes them more powerful, Not more money, but more people support them in the government and they will do the most to ensure that people against it cant vote or wont vote. If you had more orginasations that have a say in National subjects, more of you will be happy and to keep these from underminding the rest, have some sort of regulation.

The EU was wanted by the people at one point and I honstly dont mind it, I disagree with some things they have done but it all starts on a lower level, the EU is a gathering of major parties in a parlement, so whomever rules in Germany will have the political influence of the german EU party and to get your voice to the EU is hard but not impossible, bring up issues in your nation to the major parties and at some point if enough people say the same as you are arguing, they cant ignore you. If so then bring up that as a Major issue.

Also rjwiles, noone has threatened your family, and If you are such a Christian why would you say such disgusting things like that. You're sick man, take vacation days from Simcountry and see a therapist. And Muslims dont force religion just as any other religion.... Keep in mind the Crusades and when the Reformation happend, Catholics hated the shit out of Protastants to where they killed eachother even though they believe(d) in virtually the same god. Was that not a form a terrorism to try and bring down the other. And just as in Islam the Sunnis and the Shittes they are going through this part of their own extremeism, remember they had the Ottomans and colonisation to cause such cultural confusion and tension.

"Because they are Gun Lovers whom believes in that 2nd amendment shit"

You don't have to love the Constitution if you live here. But you're not going to abolish it without a fight. And if you don't have US citizenship, the laws in our country won't affect you if you stay home.

If you don't like guns, limit your travels in Europe to exclude Switzerland.

Every young man in Switzerland is required to undergo training and is given an assault rifle and ammunition which they must keep in their home at all times.

There are almost no restrictions to buying guns and the army frequently sells their surplus weapons to the general public.

The gun crime in Switzerland is extremely rare.

Switzerland - 0.58 gun deaths per 10,000 people
USA - 3.72 gun deaths per 10,000 people.

Guns aren't the problem. Criminals are the problem. And no amount of legislation is going to change that fact.

Amen Marshal. I'm a die hard liberal but I'm a huge supporter of the 2nd amendment. I remember a time where about a 100 women showed up for rape prevention class. One of the tactics they taught there was for you to pee yourself because apparently that's going to turn the rapist off. Half of them immediately stood up and left while taking pamphlets from the guy standing on the way out so that they could take gun classes.

Well the Catholics have twisted the law of god and vision of god to the point where, according the retarded popes, there is no such thing as evil and you will get rewarded for anything you do by god. The popes also try to make themselves near god-like and divine in the eyes of the world. As a result the popes are more strongly worshipped then god himself. That is why I'm a protestant Christian whether you like it or not. We protestants formed for the freedom of belief such as yours and mine. We have fought so that people like you can complain about people like all you like here in America. But, I am not blind to theocratic threat though much of America is. I know that all religions pretty much have at some point in their history tried to force their religion on others. However my religion hasn't quite done so with only a few nut heads here and there trying. What has happened in the past however with other religions and forced religion is irrelevant to the same events happening today. Currently it is only Islam, not all of it I know, that is trying with a major centralized force of millions of people to wage genocide against non muslims. I have a muslim friend who himself has also agreed with me on this topic. I have a right to believe this and I am believing it to my death just as you have a right to believe your beliefs. I have not attempted to force my beliefs on anyone, though I believe that everyone should follow my beliefs just as you very obviously do. That will not happen though and besides nether one of us can ever truly be proven correct in any sense other then after death. But our deaths won't prove ether one of us correct to the world. So, criticize me as much as you can, it is what we Americans have fought for, for hundreds of years. If you are a threat we will fight however we can to survive and for the survival of freedom. I also fight for the 2nd amendment so we can personally defend ourselves. It usally takes 27 mins for police to arrive to defend you. It only takes a few milliseconds for a bullet to save you. So I thank you, Oster, actually for stating your opinion, however offensive it is meant to be, because that gives me more to argue against. This whole process is one of the main reasons America formed. I also thank SeizeForce for setting up this forum so that we can all state our opinions. It is not the opinions that matter it's actions you make, or will make, that matter in the end. Also I'm actually not sure why you are so worried about what we Americans do anyway. It has nothing to do with you nor your country and will not have anything to do with it. I'm just curious as to why, that's all. It would helpful if you would explain it.

Sunday, August 14, 2016 - 12:31 am Click here to edit this post
Currently there only 100 million or so radicalized muslims and 1.7 billion not radicalized muslims but this number is growing very fast with a 20% growth per year. Muslims who were perfectly fine one day are the next day blowing or shooting people up randomly. All because of a single thing they see on tv or on the internet. The religion of Islam is also growing very fast a gain in recent years of 80-100 million people converting a year. I'm just saying that at this rate it could start looking a lot worse in the coming years. Again I know not all muslims will become rads but enough may become rad to pose a serious threat to the world. They probably wouldn't win but this could result in events as bad as a WW3 which would kill 100s of millions of people. Thumbs up to both marshall and seizeforce on the 2nd amendment.

RJ- On the religious topic, I'm not blind to the history of the Catholic church. I'm also not blind to the threat radical Islamic jihad poses to the stability of the rest of the world. I disagree on the WW3 scenario, at least in the foreseeable future. I think they will slowly grow, and continue their policy of asymmetric warfare. I don't think we will be faced with a world war, like the previous two, large conventional wars seem to be a thing of the past. Once things reach a tipping point, I think it's more likely we'll be faced with another Crusade. And that is going to be a paradigm shift for Western Civilization.

For Oster. The Second Amendment wasn't designed to protect ourselves from common criminals. It was designed to protect us from the tyranny of our public servants, should they ever decide they are our masters. (Our police no longer need to worry about the other reasons - marauding Native Americans, slave insurrections, or the invasion of the United States by foreign powers.) Only 4 of the Original States constitutions link defense to this right, and 2 of them provide that is only for the common defense. Having said that, I believe that self defense is a natural right. It's just not spelled out explicitly. I'd lump it under "life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness." if you'd like to discuss Justice Scalia's opinion on Heller, I'd be more then happy to continue.

Marshal I never said you were blind to the history nor the treat. I just said that I wasn't and that a lot of Americans today don't seem to understand the extent of this threat. By a WW3 I didn't really mean like WW1 and 2 like wars that are more imperial type wars. I meant that there may be a long lasting world wide world between the rads and each other and the rest of the world. Well I mean there is and has been already long war like this but I think it will continue to get worse for a while unless we find ways to better fight and do fight them. 'm not calling you stupid or anything. I didn't really explain that very well.

And that "Common Defense" in a Modern Era is being used in your country as a weapon against other innocent people. If you think that just talking about this topic and how it was created is going to stop them, well think again because it is as easy to buy a gun in US than to recieve a Barrel that take a quarter of a fucking year to reach its destination.

This is the modern era where nuclear weapons are overstocked and 2 major nations are pointing them at eachother, conservative isolationists want to see people in OUTDATED jobs (Coal mining, mining in general, fracking, handmade labour) reintroduced as a major job creator, it's like they believe that Coal, Oil, uranium, and other heavy metals and nonrenewable material, are going to last forever, we have approximately 40 years until oil runs dry, 20 years in US for coal to be mined out, less than 100 years for the world to run out, yet they still want to keep and rape these resources better than before, and why? The world makes money off of that.... It's like no one even cares that we live on a bubble with a dust particle inside. By renovating the energy and infrastructure can make jobs and put educated people to work on projects to make the world cleaner, putting construction workers around the world in a global effort to do such renovation, but no, all they care is about the now and not the future. They are narrow minded, short-sighted and showing no passion for the future, as if the economy was just going to fail today but in the future it would be the same thing in 40 years until another republican or some loudmouthed False-republican whom has been a democrat for a good portion of his political carrier. Rj - Don't worry about "calling you stupid or anything." I've been called a lot worse by professionals. :P Americans have a habit of sticking their heads in the sand, and ignoring history. That's why traditionally we have downsized our military after every war. That's why we don'd understand realities in other countries. We don't even really understand race relations in our country. We ignore our own history while trying to preach our ideals to the world.

Oster - we may quibble about the exact amounts, but your premise about non-renewable resources is sound. We will eventually run out of those materials, and they will be replaced by other sources. Still, they have their attractions. Oil is simply the best cost to benefit energy source we have. Coal is cheap and, for the moment, plentiful.

Why are the corporations that exploit such resources short-sighted? Here's a quote from an old text :

âIt is not from the benevolence of the butcher, the brewer, or the baker that we expect our dinner, but from their regard to their own self-interest. We address ourselves not to their humanity but to their self-love, and never talk to them of our own necessities, but of their advantagesâ
â Adam Smith, An Inquiry into the Nature & Causes of the Wealth of Nations, Vol 1

As far as discussing politics or economics.... those subjects are just as contentious as race or religion. None of these four areas have any concrete reality that can be argued. Only opinions...indeed, proponents of the same general school of thought can not even agree of the tenets of the subject. By all means, start a discussion. But it's going to go wonky fast.

Johanas, it is the right that constantly propagates the need for controlling the world. From Nixon to Reagan to Bush. You can clearly see the right doesn't practice what they preach. In Texas, you can't even pick your own power or electric companies while in liberal states you can. So much for free trade there. But Republicans bitch and moan that they're conservative. Then, it's even more laughable when Texas has stricter gun laws than PA which is a Democrat state.

Perhaps the right shouldn't just talk the talk but walk the walk.

Johanas, don't even get me started on Republican states being the biggest welfare users in the country.

You Republicans and the right control your state and say welfare should be gone, but can't get it done? Perhaps you should leave things to people who are willing to get the job done, like liberals.

LOL, I'm sorry... Did you just say the right propagates the need for controlling the world? Really? XD

I can't even debate here man, good one. I give you a 10/10 for that statement. Sorry, no not really. How can you say that when the only reason the United States has stayed so free in the past century is because of republicans and conservative ideology. If you want to be controlled go to a left wing country like Germany.

That's why anarchists are the most right winged. They don't want to rule anyone. Dictators are the most left wing, they want to control everything.

For simcountry in the end that is, were all dictators. Which is fine. It's a game.

"How can you say that when the only reason the United States has stayed so free in the past century is because of republicans and conservative ideology."

Tell that to black people who only recently got their civil rights and ability to have interracial marriages with one state holding out completely until 2001. And yes, those people called themselves conservatives and they WERE conservatives. You're more of a classic liberal.

"If you want to be controlled go to a left wing country like Germany."

You're getting off topic here, I'm talking about the need to control what citizens in OTHER countries do. Liberals want to certainly control what it's own citizens do. But they don't care much for other countries. Republicans have been the ones waging war. Again, determine people not by their words but by their actions.

"That's why anarchists are the most right winged."

Anarchy is neither left or right wing. Anarchy is the total absence of government/authority.

In terms of government control, anarchy is extreme right wing: it wants no government at all.

In terms of social control, anarchy is extreme left wing: it wants no social controls.

Fascists are the extreme right wingers. THEY want to control everything.

When did race join the issue? This has nothing to do with race. Liberals always bring race into the picture.

You're completely opposite with social controls. It has and always will be the left that pushes for things like transgenderism, abortion, and gay marriage. If a church doesn't want to do a gay wedding they could get attacked by the state for it. It's not the ideology that is the problem, it is the people who follow that ideology. A lot of what you're saying is not true, even though you're trying to make it out as fact when it is not. Go to any extreme liberal college campus and speak an opinion that doesn't correspond with theirs. They will shut your voice down at all costs. That's why they're fascists. Conservatives will allow liberals to speak their feeling filled opinions so that they can counter with factual information. Usually resulting in the liberals calling the conservatives racist making it impossible to have a real debate. The left doesn't want to listen to the right so it shuts it down. To liberals conservatives are the greatest enemy. To conservatives the people hurting america are the greatest enemy. The reality being liberals that are hurting the country more than anyone else ever will.

"Go to any extreme liberal college campus and speak an opinion that doesn't correspond with theirs. They will shut your voice down at all costs. That's why they're fascists."

Universities are not compelled or obligated to respect free speech, and nor are businesses or any other private organizations for that matter. Don't like it? Too bad. If I build a university, I'll decide how I'll run it. Just like if you wish to come into my home, you'd have to respect me and not say retarded stuff.

"That's why they're fascists"

Stop throwing around words that you don't understand. Fascism means right wing radical authoritarian nationalism.

"Conservatives will allow liberals to speak their feeling filled opinions so that they can counter with factual information." You keep saying this but provide no proof of it.

I'll provide you one.

Fox News, the only conservative maintream media that was left got sued and even admitted in their lawsuit they lie a lot. "Fox admits they lie" and, under the First Amendment, "have the right to lie or deliberately distort news reports on public airwaves."

Suprisingly, the only media left that is still held up to the standards of being obligated to tell the truth are liberal medias. Isn't that a coincidence?

Every single conservative news media are all just opinion blogs and opinion podcasts. None of which are fact checked.

"You're completely opposite with social controls. It has and always will be the left that pushes for things like transgenderism, abortion, and gay marriage. If a church doesn't want to do a gay wedding they could get attacked by the state for it."

Let's break it down a bit. Gay marriage, that was when states decided to actually word it to BAN same sex marriage. That's actually controlling the social norms. Repealing it or having the Supreme Court invalidating it means less social control.

As for abortion, that's leaving the decision up to the person who's body is for theirs to do with. Also, many abortions before it was legalized were never punished, as you couldn't tell the difference between an abortion and a miscarriage.

" A lot of what you're saying is not true, even though you're trying to make it out as fact when it is not."

What's not true? The fact that conservatives tried to ban interracial marriage? same sex marriage? enforce segregation? Prevent blacks and women from being able to vote?

These are all facts that could be backed up by sources if you wish to ask.

" If a church doesn't want to do a gay wedding they could get attacked by the state for it."

Let me get a source on that. But we both know you don't have any source for it. Who's speaking without facts now?

I have much more but here's to answer your question. Also since you're so determined to defend the left and brainwashed to the point you'll take my words out of context I'll just stop here. You're a great example of a liberal by the way. If someone asks a question instead of answering it you give the wrong advice and personally attack the player for being inexperienced. Something you shouldn't do when you yourself are inexperienced. All you're doing is making yourself look bad, but that's okay because it's not my problem now. Once Hillary wins and Trump rips the republican party it'll be downhill for a while until the right can fight back against liberal bias. Johanas, only just recently this year have they allowed open carry with pistols.

"Also since you're so determined to defend the left and brainwashed to the point you'll take my words out of context I'll just stop here."

Classic misdirection and ad hominem. Your whole parahraph is trying to attack my character without addressing a single argument point that I brought up.

"All you're doing is making yourself look bad, but that's okay because it's not my problem now."

Clearly, you bring this up because you care a little too much about my image. I don't. I argue my points instead of worrying about how I come across. You should do the same.

"This whole thread started on your excuse to make an argument on a game because you're not actually playing the game just buying your stuff with gc instead of working for it."

How I play the game has something to do with my perceptions of whether or not I'm liberal or conservative?

And your source does not provide any information or evidence to support that "they could get attacked by the state for it". Please show me a source where states can legally attack churches for denying gay weddings. THis time, you should actually provide the info instead of blatantly trying to distract my attention from what really is the topic here.

Wednesday, August 17, 2016 - 07:18 pm Click here to edit this post
"Universities are not compelled or obligated to respect free speech." Completely private universities, I'd agree. However, if they are government funded, I'll go along with the following from the ACLU's site:

"That's the wrong response, well-meaning or not. The First Amendment to the United States Constitution protects speech no matter how offensive its content. Speech codes adopted by government-financed state colleges and universities amount to government censorship, in violation of the Constitution. And the ACLU believes that all campuses should adhere to First Amendment principles because academic freedom is a bedrock of education in a free society." If we deny education to folks, we are committing what our founding fathers feared when they restricted the vote to white males with property.

"As for abortion, that's leaving the decision up to the person who's body is for theirs to do with. Also, many abortions before it was legalized were never punished, as you couldn't tell the difference between an abortion and a miscarriage." This is entirely specious. In the past we couldn't tell the difference between some toxicological effects and a heart attack. The fact that we did not punish the bystanders of all folks who had heart attacks is immaterial.

Roe v Wade is the law of the land. That's actually controlling the social norms. And that's what legislation and the judicial review of oversight on that process is all about. Arguing about social control on one side or the other of this argument is irrelevant - the practice of controlling social norms is politics and government.

I find all this extremely entertaining for several reasons.
1) I find it funny that most people feel that if you don't agree with their world view they you have a mental problem, espeically when it come to politics. As if anyone ever took that as science.
2) I find it funny that anyone worries about what Donald Trump said during the primaries. Let me explain in two words: FREE MEDIA. It got his name on the news just about every night which was better coverage than buying adds.
3) Besides, it not like any politician actually has done what he said he was going to do before he got in office. Except for Obamacare and if you think that is a success you haven't been reading about insurance companies fleeing it as fast as they can.
4) Parliaments are different then republics (American is a republic- we send representatives - not a democracy where everyone votes on everything i.e. ancient Greece). A Parliament can disolve the exiting government at any time or fail to form one. See Italy and Belgium on how well that worked.
4)Neo Nazis, in my opinion, are a response to nervous uncertainty by individuals who are normally poor and without hope. These are exactly the types who formed the first Nazi party. There have always been extremists the big difference now is that they get instant news coverage and their own Facebook page. Regretfully people like that thrive on that sort of thing and it encourages them to do more. Seems to me to be more about attention than anything.

To return to the topic originally introduced, race. I recently read a novel by Greg Iles, The Quiet Game. And I think he hit it on the head.
To paraphrase:
We tend to look at blacks as just another immigrant population. One that can't get it's act together. The Jews, the Irish, Poles, Italians etc. all came to this country and do not experience the problems blacks do. Only one other race group experiences similar types of problems - Native Americans.

The Native Americans had their land stolen out from underneath them, and their culture systematically destroyed. The Blacks were stolen from their land, and had their culture systematically destroyed.

Culture has a stabilizing influence. Until these groups come up with a unifying culture, we will continue to see poverty, alcoholism and drug addiction, high crime etc.

I am not a left wing apologist blaming all social ills on the government. I do, however, recognize the original root cause.

Here is my take on what is going on in America. :-)

The people in America have changed. We've gone from a society where the peoples earned their livings with hard work and the ability to seize the American Dream - in control of their livelihoods and futures to those who want something for nothing, therefore being taken care of by the government. What people have to realize, getting something for free DOES come with a price.

I stand in amazement at the young people who want a free college education. Well, I wasn't afforded a free college education, nor my brother. Our parents sacrificed to pay the higher costs of education so that my brother and I could attend private schools and obtain a degree before entering the work force. We also worked and contributed to that goal. My dad worked three jobs. So my thoughts are, if you want it, you work for it. As parents, you prepare for it. You do without the half million dollar homes and BMWs! You make sacrifices. You send your children to school.

As for the black Americans, so many of them have the "victim" mindset that they are "owed" for what happened to their ancestors with slavery. What they don't realize is their mindset still keeps them in a state of slavery. Today, every black American should recognize that as an American you can be anything you want to be, but you have to work for it. There are so many though, who don't aspire to that.........I mean why? The Democrats will cut them a check. They should be helped and encouraged that they are worthy of so much more. There are many successful black Americans who have lifted themselves from that mindset. Look at Ben Carson. The man is brilliant. The Democratic party although on the surface looks great to Black Americans by doling out checks are really limiting many from knowing that they are capable of much much more. They (democratic party) have the control, they keep the impoverished Black Americans, right where they want them.

I see so many of my Black American friends, many whom are my role models here at my office, that have worked hard and made successes of their lives. They have motivation and drive. Every American - black, white, Asian, Muslim, have that ability.

Communities need to take care of each other, help each other, and become less reliant on the government for their well being and needs. And OMG - don't even get me started on the whole health care issue!!!

Futhermore, America was founded under God. We have our constitution and the principles upon which we stand as a nation. We were founded to be a free and independent nation.

Where are we now? Well, I can't even talk about my God at work. I can't say Merry Christmas. Schools, you can't even recite the Pledge of Allegiance. They have removed God from schools and from public buildings. Can't have Christmas trees anymore, they have to be holiday trees. Ugh! Need I go on???? People are way too easily offended.

Come on, if you come to America, you can practice your religious freedom, but don't come changing our ways, our beliefs, our rights. But this is happening.

The movement over the last several decades has been moving the USA from a free and independent nation to one with less freedoms and more globalized with the rest of the world.

Hillary Clinton is one of the most corrupt people - her and her husband and foundation. They sell our country out for money from other countries. Doesn't matter if they are terrorist-supporting countries or what. It is about power, money, greed, corruption. Aaaaaaaaaaah but what is money? Yes, money is the root of all evil. That is what they represent - EVIL.

I guess that America somewhere along the way has lost its moral compass that its people could even back such a dishonest and corrupt individual to the highest position of our land. What happened to the days when someone's honor and integrity counted for something?

I am proudly going to support Donald Trump for the American presidency. He was not my choice as the republican nominee. However, his policies, the direction of where the country needs to go are more in line with my opinions for the success of our great nation. I want my freedom, my independence, my religious freedom. I want a leader with backbone and not the wimp that Obama has been, that Hillary will continue to be.

I will say this. I will do my part to make America great again. If you choose to go the current path, and our great nation falls, and it will. You have yourselves to blame. I am so NEVER Hillary Clinton, I would vote for my cat as president over Hillary Clinton. Surely Trump can do better than my cat. lol

" Well, I wasn't afforded a free college education, nor my brother. Our parents sacrificed to pay the higher costs of education so that my brother and I could attend private schools and obtain a degree before entering the work force."

I'm assuming your much older, in which case, I have to say your generation ruined the Social Security for us younger generations. We're not going to be able to have the same luxury of social security while you guys work on our backs and take advantage of the social security that will be gutted for us. Perhaps you shouldn't be talking. Your political decisions left this country in a worse state than you will soon leave with us, and it's us getting the shaft for it. The whole post has been "Stop relying on the government" while you DO rely on the government. America lost it's moral compass while your generation went greedy and picked the wrong political leaders. If it was up to me, the older voters and your generation would be barred from ever being able to vote or take advantage of social security while leaving this country in debt of 20 trillion.

The only people who "ruined" Social Security is the Federal government. Social Security is a tax legally extorted from workers and you have zero claim to any funds paid in.

If you disagree I suggest you actually research the relevant Supreme Court rulings laying these facts out.

As for the debt, America was 10 trillion in debt in 2008. Obama has pushed the debt limit and we will be 20 trillion in debt before he leaves office.

A new record considering it took 227 years to accumulate 10 trillion and Barry did it in 8 years.

Once again you have no clue about the things you post.

"The only people who "ruined" Social Security is the Federal government. "

Nice way to shift the blame from yourself. Perhaps maybe take responsibility for once in your life for electing dumb politicians.

And yes, I'm considering marking the mistakes under Obama once again the faults of the older generations. I didn't vote for him.

Also, Republican states are the biggest welfare users.

"The highest federal aid recipients are: Mississippi (45.3%), Louisiana (44%), Tennessee (41%), South Dakota (40.8%), Missouri (39.4%), Montana (39%), and Georgia (37.9%). As you may have noticed, almost all of these are red states controlled by the Republican Party (Missouri is an exception)."

The only reason America is still relevant is because of blue states and blue cities. The federal government needs to shut off all social security and welfare. Maybe perhaps the republican population and older population will be decimated. But it'd be a huge improvement and the country would lose its burden.

I suspect you live in the red states I mentioned above, Johanas. Perhaps you should consider refraining from voting ever again.

Wow, Siezeforce you didn't read the rest of the article, did you? Or were you just trying to prove a point? I encourage everyone to go to to read it for themselves.

Just a couple of things. The biggest welfare areas are cities that have been democratic for decades. Cities and states even run by Republicans are doing much better.

The issue of same sex marriage is the issue of the state defining a religious term. What the state is really regulating is a joint legal status and that is what they should call it.

Thirdly, A fetish in not just a woman's body because it took part of a man to get her pregnant. And what about the rights of the father not to mention the person inside of her? And if you want to say that it is not legally a person then find me a person that wasn't a baby to begin with.

NOWHERE in the article was this mentioned. You have any proof to show for it?

Also, here it is, can't blame city leaders now anymore.

"In 1996 the Republican Congress passed a reform law signed by President Clinton that gave the control of the welfare system back to the states. The Federal government provides assistance through TANF (Temporary Assistance for Needy Families). TANF is a grant given to each state to run their own welfare program."

The welfare system is controlled by state leaders. States that are controlled by Republican leaders can determine how the use of welfare is done, so why is it that they're horrible at managing their own states and relying on the federal government?

@Zen " If you want to be controlled go to a left wing country like Germany." <.<

Dont say anything about a country you've never been to nor have the knowledge about the Political system of Germany in the Past and Present. I am a German I know more about the Political system of Europe more than you probably ever would try to learn.

Also *Historical fact, after WW1 and the German Monarch was disbanded Germany went into a Democratic state called the Weimar Republik, in a Parlamentary system ruled by SDP (Sozialdemokratische Partei) Social Democratic Party (They still "rule" today) The reason as to why the Nazis gained control is similar as to what is happening to many Western nations today, with radical ideas making headlines and talks of "knowing what is actually going on in the govt" the National Socialist Party (Nazis) destroyed the Democratic system by doing many things to get the people angry and Scared from foreigners/immigrants, like :) Burning down the Reichstag. Then slowly taking control of the govt. Most Germans at the time didnt even want the National Socialists in power, they just had to go with what was going on because the Government moved from Democratic to a Dictatorship within a decade. Oh and by the way taking that I've also lived in America for a few years too, I'd say that Germany and Europe is way 'Freeer' than the US and actually committed for the wellbeing of Humans both at home and away.

I missed a lot more but that was a just a "summary" I had something in the Oven XD

Free college tuition ended in the 1960s. I just missed it. However, for compensation, I did receive a first round draft pick by the US Army. Free college is not an UnAmerican idea. Many institutions had free tuition, with only incidental costs.

Social Security has always been a Ponzi scheme. Thank you FDR. The reason it's not solvent is two fold. First, the false premise that birth rates would continue to increase, allowing the Ponzi scheme to flourish. Second, that fact that it is constantly raided by the Government to pay for other things. Our National debt is not only what the Government owes outside entities, it also is what it owes itself.

On the German note... More Germans wanted the NSDP in power then other factions, at least initially. They did win elections. However, let's not confuse the NSDP and Hitler. There was a party before Hitler took it over. And their ideals weren't that far fetched for the time. FDR stole most of their platform for his "Points of Light." Fascism has received a black name through history because of Hitler. Fascism was alive in Spain until 1978. As an ally of the United States. While most historians quibble that Franco wasn't a "core fascist" one has to only look at Spain's policies to see that there wasn't much difference.

Red State Welfare - there is a great article on this in the American Thinker. Here's a snippet:

Furthermore, it's equally nonsensical to just consider how a state votes for the president. We also need to look at how each state votes for its senators, representatives, and even governors. Given how Congress has the "power of the purse," this is core to assessing how a state's welfare status relates to its Democrat versus Republican voting record. And this is where the "red state welfare" hypothesis disintegrates.

I have looked through that opinion piece site and it's been nothing more than a blatant attempt to ignore critical information.

It says Congress has the power of the purse but then ignores that "In 1996 the Republican Congress passed a reform law signed by President Clinton that gave the control of the welfare system back to the states. The Federal government provides assistance through TANF (Temporary Assistance for Needy Families)."

Again, it gave control of the welfare system back to the states. Now, you want to look at how those states vote for their state leaders? Well, let's keep in mind that Mississippi, Louisiana, Tennessee, the top 3 welfare recipients are still heavily republican dominated states.

The article's entire argument is based on the crucial information that Congress controls welfare, which is incorrect to say the least.

The point of the article, as with all statistics, it all depends on how your compare the numbers. Yes, some states have historically high unemployment and poverty. I think many locations have more to do with whose in the state house.

Oh, and by the way, the federal government may send the money to the states but don't think for an instance that they don't set most of the rules.

Proof of democratic city failures? Well, given that most really large cities are democratic and most rural areas are republican. But just take a look at places like Atlanta, Detroit, Oakland, Gary, Cleveland, Washington DC - need I list more? Yes, there are many issues going on in some of these towns but laying the flame on Republicans is bogus.

Marshal, you do make some good points and I agree with a lot that Wicked Lady said. I have been to Europe multiple times and would not say it is all bad. I was surprised at how clean London was when I was there.

The main I guess is that single finger pointing is rarely is ever right. Sure Obama has doubled out national debt but for 6 years Republicans have allowed him to do. So who to blame? All of them. That is why people are for Trump - he's not the guys or the system that is in place.

mmm. I go along with a lot of what ya say Eugene. But if Trump isn't one of the puppets, he's one of the puppeteers. I don't think he can claim to be an outsider, after buying so many of the folks on the inside. That said, I'd rather see him then Hillary in, since my candidate doesn't have a chance.

Eugene, you cannot blame city leaders either, as I have said, welfare programs are done under state authorities.

And marshal, what makes you think Trump will be able to work or control congress? He's insulted every single one of them. They'd sooner work with Hillary than him. In fact, they'd actually let Obama do whatever he wishes.

With Trump, even Paul Ryan the new Speaker of House had made Trump his "bitch" for lack of a better word. You can see this with his backpedaling, apologizing to Paul, and then endorsing him with Paul ryan immediately coming back to criticize and insult him even more. Trump doesn't have a spine. And he even just TODAY backpedaled on his immigration plans and said, I quote, make it more similar to Obama's.

I'm not THAT old and there won't be social security for when I reach that eligible age, which is 15 to 20 years off. So, what do you have to say to that? I've paid in lots of money, MY money, for my future, but it won't be there. I don't rely on the government, thus why I have my own personal retirement plan. And, why do I have what I have? I have worked for it. It is not my generation who has done this to social security. It has been the federal government misspending the money and paying for those who DON'T work.

SiezeForce, you are missing my point. Many historically Democratically run cities are in major trouble. Illinois, democratic for I don't know how long, is in major financial trouble, not to mention California. Most cities doing well now are run by Republicans. While this might not always be true throughout history it is at the moment.

I don't expect Trump to control Congress. That's not the president's job. His job, which presidents seem to forget lately, is to run the government bodies, not do Congress's job. I would be happy if he did just that well.

"Most cities doing well now are run by Republicans". This statement is laughable.

You mean cities like Portland, San Francisco, Boston, Miami, are all struggling? You're delusional.

Republican run cities are the cities NO ONE wants to visit. Every single city that is a tourist heaven and utopia is a liberal city. From Hollywood in Los Angeles to Manhatten in New York City.

Republicans and conservatives are insufferable and that's why no one wants to even visit what they have in their shitty rural areas. If they still want to farm and clean up after cow manures, they're free to.

but if I were to say that word my post will be deleted anyway (so there is no point in mentioning it), which is completely understandable due to laws all throughout Europe to protect a particular banking dynasty from 'hate speech' since the second world war, so whatever.. carry on then.

Blaming the voter for the actions of the Federal government over the past 70 years is like blaming the crime victim. We have been systematically robbed of our treasure by corrupt and inefficient government at all levels.

Parties are irrelevant. Both are corrupt and making themselves rich at our expense. Most of the issues you hold so dear are just political theater for the respective voter base. The real power isn't in Washington. It is inside corporations and the self appointed elite who really run the country.

Friday, August 26, 2016 - 05:18 am Click here to edit this post
Johanas, but only one party is blatantly trying to lower taxes for the elite and telling people we need to hold what the rich says on any matter.

Republicans have been for corporate elites, allowing loopholes, working with foreign entities and businesses in China, who wishes to undermine us. Yet, it is still the Republicans who hold Donald Trump, a billionaire with many business ties in China, as someone who is better than other people. You can see this cult of personality.

Democrats have been for taxing the rich, taxing the elites.

I am going to write my opinion based on what I see, but please note that this is going to be from a religious perspective and what I know from reading the Bible. I know some of you may not believe in God, and I respect that, and it is not my intention to shove religion down anyone's throat. I confess though, I do pray for everyone to know God's love.

The United States of America is "one nation under God". Our country has grown so far away from God, it isn't even funny. The good Lord has blessed America in many ways.......wealth, prosperity, abundance of food and water. We have always had a hedge of protection around us. Now, we are living our lives, away from God, replacing Him with money as our idol. God punishes His people, a wake up call, per se, for them to refocus on Him and not of things of the world. Now this doesn't mean you can't have nice things or know the importance of money, it simply means, you put God first above everything.

Our wake-up call was 9-11. Since then attacks on America have at last come to our soil. It has come to everyone's soil. Everyone should be concerned about ISIS, not just Americans.

Our great nation will fall under God's wrath if we stick to our current path. We can be likened to Israel, as written about in the Old Testament. I encourage people to read Joel, Amos, Isaiah. You can see God's wrath on people who consistently refuse to repent and return to Him.

Many of our elected officials, I believe are under the spirit of Anti-Christ. Many people are too. This is not to say they are "the devil" but they are influenced by powers of darkness and principalities. As the Bible says, "we do not war with flesh and blood." These elected officials exploit people, take advantage of them as they become wealthy and prosperous at our expense.

You see the Democratic Party and even members of the Republican party have their own selfish agendas in mind, and do not have the best interests of the American people at heart. Hillary Clinton is by far one of the most corrupt individuals I have ever seen, and blatantly so, and jokes about it. Yet, so many Americans are blind or don't care as long as they can get their "free lunch." It is a lie, my American friends. They are controlling your lives and keeping you right where they want you, as they gain and gain in money and power. They (the Democrats) are taking away your freedoms and liberties right before your very own eyes. You want to know why gun control is so important to them? They want to control every aspect of your existence, even your right to protect yourselves. The Democrats want you to be dependent upon them, the government, for everything. Thus they have the power. The POWER needs to be taken back by the American people.

No. We need to be an independent nation with our freedoms and liberties in place under God. We should not have to restrict God, the pledge of allegiance, the 10 commandments from our work places and schools. This is what our country is founded on, and thus where it should stay. We need to stop depending on the Government to take care of us. Families need to stick together, help each other. Communities need to do the same.

I wonder how many millions of dollars from the Clinton Foundation has gone to clean up the inner cities, where there is poverty and no hope? Uh, none. lol Wake up, people. Look at all the millions of dollars that have been given to Clinton for this campaign. If monies can be given for campaigns.... in the millions, can't they, the donors, extend these millions to the citizens needing help? It's all about greed, control, power.

Now Trump. He has no political background. He's a billionaire, so really he has all the money and "power" he needs. I honestly feel like he is sincere in trying to help America, and that he loves his country. He knows the political game. He's used it to his advantage as a successful businessman. And he has stated this to the American people. It is really quite refreshingly honest. Yes, he is blunt. Yes, he doesn't say the right thing all the time. He tells it like he sees it. He echoes many of the people's sentiments, yet he isn't afraid to say it. Many people are.

I believe Donald Trump is being used by God to wake people up - a shaking of sorts. God uses unlikely people like He did with Paul in the Bible, who killed Christians, to spread His message.

I pray people wake up. This election is a critical turning point in our nation. If we continue the same path, we will fall. With Trump, there is some semblance of hope, for our struggling nation.

But, ultimately, our hope needs to be with God and not really in any government official. Only He can turn the country around.

Oh and SeizeForce, you may not appreciate what I say or what anyone says here, but you need to be respectful. A successful orator (or writer here) is one who uses intellect, compassion, and respect in citing one's view. It has more impact.

God Bless You ALL!

I'd rather not read the whole thing as it sounds like you wish for the US to have some kind of theocratic government. And it's good the US is moving away from religion. Separation of church and state, don't know if you've heard of it.

And can't really call a man like Donald Trump who donated to Planned Parenthood a good christian man.

And you can't also call Donald Trump a good candidate when Arizona and Georgia are battleground states this election. That's pretty SAD! LOW ENERGY.

Where does it mention the words separation of church and state in the 1st amendment? Its called" Freedom of Religion". The government can't establish an official religion or interfere with people's right to freely exercise their religion. It does mean that people of faith can freely participate in government without any interference from the state. Also it means that people have the right to decide not to follow the Christian faith. The Bible talks about that as well. The only religion that has elements that desire a theocratic government is Islam. Iran would be a prime example of that. Saudi Arabia as well.

Thank you William.
The phase 'separation of church and state' is from a letter by Thomas Jefferson, not even a government document. I get so tired of people quoting it like it is more than that.

Of course I am just a extensive reader of history and picky that way :)

SF, yes, we've seen Trump backpedaling on Paul Ryan. Much as Hillary did with Obama. Politics as usual. If Trump does make it into office, I think the GOP will work with him. Just like Hillary supporters did with Obama.

Seperation of church and state. Everson vs. Board of education 1947. Its about the due process clause. The majority opinion by Justice Black:

"The 'establishment of religion' clause of the First Amendment means at least this: Neither a state nor the Federal Government can set up a church. Neither can pass laws which aid one religion, aid all religions or prefer one religion over another. Neither can force nor influence a person to go to or to remain away from church against his will or force him to profess a belief or disbelief in any religion. No person can be punished for entertaining or professing religious beliefs or disbeliefs, for church attendance or non-attendance. No tax in any amount, large or small, can be levied to support any religious activities or institutions, whatever they may be called, or whatever form they may adopt to teach or practice religion. Neither a state nor the Federal Government can, openly or secretly, participate in the affairs of any religious organizations or groups and vice versa. In the words of Jefferson, the clause against establishment of religion by law was intended to erect 'a wall of separation between Church and State.'"

While Jefferson was quoted, the court also drew on Madison's writings.

The due process clause. The Federal Government protecting each citizen from the government of their own state. Shaky ground? You be the judge. Prior to the 1930s States had a free hand.

Dear SeizeForce,

I agree with some of your points as it pertains to Trump. That is why I did not support him in the primary. I chose Ted Cruz. The point I was trying to make is not for the Government to "govern" religion, but to protect my freedoms and rights as it pertains to my faith and right to say Merry Christmas, to hang a crucifix in my office, etc.

As for me supporting a theocratic government, well you obviously have failed comprehension skills.....but then perhaps if you had taken time to read my entire post, you would have understood what I was saying.

As I also stated, my post was my opinion. When you address me, keep your disrespectful sarcasm to yourself. You can rebut my opinion, but do so respectfully. As I said, all in how you approach a topic, and how respectful you are, will deem what sort of impact or respect you will receive or that you will even be listened to. :-)

Good quote, marshal. I for one think that the federal government and courts have been far from 'impartial' when it comes to religion, which is the major we are seeing people fighting back with laws that some people don't like. Hopefully this will all end up where it belongs.
