I wanted to thank everyone who voted my proposal.
The GM really liked it so lets see what happens :)

--------------------------------------------------

Requiring C3 armies to come from the world market Status: Excellent, please read our response
Detailed Description:

Currently in C3 wars all Weapons/Ammo just appear out of no where. My suggestion is that all Weapons/Ammo to come off the world market. How it would work is that when the war starts the game creates all the units outlined in the war guides. After the war is won the game takes the total number of weapons/ammo lost and removes that amount from the market. This would create a massive demand for weapons and ammo. It would also allow the GM to massively increase the production of weapons corporations, decrease the cost of weapons, and allow players to become more self-sufficient in producing

This is great. Now ammo and weapons corps will be useful and profitable.

Um, Johanas, you probably took away a different meaning from this than everyone else did.

High prices for ammos and military assets is better and more profitable for weapon corps.

Cheaper weapons and ammunitions as a result of oversupply on the world market means weapon corps and ammo corps will suffer an even worse deficit but players will be able to fund wars even more.

Only corps I can think of that would benefit from this is both Off and Def Weapons Maintenance corps as they use weapons and ammos as their supplies and it'd just further increase profit margins for them. Oversupplies of weapons and ammos, decrease of price for weapons and ammos would really just result in premium members and higher game level players who are able to make Def and Off Weapons Maintenance corps become more profitable as we should see an increased demand for them and their costs decreasing.

C3s may buy them off the market, but in the end, players who conquer them will sell it off.

Yes, a decrease in weapon prices would make weapons maintenance companies more profitable as their supplies comprise primarily of weapon systems.

As the developers mentioned, such a change would result in cheaper weapons & ammo.

However, I do not see how weapons & ammo could get any cheaper. Sure, at times they are worth something, but most of the time weapons & ammo prices are bottomed out.

I'll point out that is another thing I don't agree with, which is why do resources have set price ranges. I say let the markets decide the price, and nothing else. but it is what it is, so whatever. . .

I do not understand how weapons & ammo could possibly get cheaper than they already are, especially if C3s are now forced to [immediate] order these products.

I would assume that since C3s must now order these products, rather than magically create them out of thin air, the prices would rise

I want cheaper ammo and weapons. Rock bottom prices, pennies on the dollar I say! Heck, give them away if you need to!!

Increasing demand for weapon systems would increase the price. The GM setting a lower price per weapon system would decrease the price. The GM making a lot of GM corps manufacturing these systems would decrease the price. I'd expect some tuning, and some initial hiccups.

Regardless of the price fluctuation or direction, I'm all for it. Be nice if their commodities in stock were treated the same way. That would turn some historic perennial losing corporations back into money makers.

Sorry I missed the poll, Super. Hope to have my premium by the time the next one rolls around.

Clarification: when I and a bottle of red said in my previous post that I am a weapons/ammo supplier, more accurately at present I have been supplying only my own countries weapons/ammo. Although I do intend to eventually provide weapons/ammo for market when production quality is increased. I do however offer strategic missiles at Carina space station for anybody interested. Also when I said ammo is cheap, that was a useless side note about small arms ammo. I forgot to mention that missiles are, of course, not cheap. As such, I would expect missiles and other advanced weapon systems (by that I mean all Simcountry market weapons/ammo) to be on the expensive side in Simcountry. and so I would expect weapons/ammo companies to be among the more profitable companies as they are in reality (for example Colt, Boeing, Northrop, Lockheed, Raytheon, that Kalashnikov company in Russia, etc.). Presently in Simcountry companies that produce corn(??&#
