Low water triggers

Andy I know you said you'd look at this on Monday but I thought it necessary to provide an update.

The low water triggers for ordering country consumables still do not appear to be working for me in FB and KB most notably. From time to time I've noticed shortage in LU however I've not determined if it was a severe market shortage or the countries simply do not order when the low water mark is hit.

As you suggested I have been ordering on immediate, more than enough stock to meet my 12 month low water mark, + the sum of any shortages, + at least 120,000. In all cases I've been bringing country stocks up to at several months over the low water set point

The countries are still not ordering at the low water mark.

They wait until they hit zero or slightly negative before ordering the 12 months of stock I use in my set points. Then almost immediately throw down another order for the negative amount. If

Again, the bug in the resupply of the stranded units had to do with the delivery of these supplies by air supply units to the depots. It was not related to how much product the country had or ordered.

The problem in the resupply function is triggered by shortages on the market.

Because of these shortages, supplies in many countries were not delivered on time, and the amount on stock became negative.
Once this happens, the resupply function stops and an emergency supplies function takes its place, trying to resolve the shortage.
It orders small quantities that can be replaced at some point by immediate orders.
once the supply is positive, the regular function is back in business and order the indicated quantities.

We have now made the "emergency ordering function" place immediate orders. These are delivered, always, and the shortages are resolved.

We have seen on our logs that the ordering function was off. The auto ordering is on the settings page (not new to you). Please check the settings.

Also, if the settings are on and you keep seeing a problem, let us know again. we will keep looking into it until it is clear the the procedure works.

You also need to check the trade page to see if an order is indeed placed. Due to shortages, it can sit there for a long time and not deliver the goods.

You are correct and yes they are not new to me although it's been years since I played a country.

At this point I'm going to say yes. I've still got some products in shortage but I'm going to make sure they are well above the low water mark and watch them closer.

No. Automatic orders still not working for aircraft fuel and military supplies.

Aries, can you show us where exactly?
Do you have negative numbers?

We have looked in several countries and saw orders issued (if auto ordering was turned on), and we see very few negative numbers because immediate orders are issued.

Every slave country I have on LU has no aircraft fuel, a significant air force, an aggressive ordering strategy that is turned on, and no orders for aircraft fuel. Take your pick:

My guess is that your little immediate orders, if and when they happen, are insufficient to meet the needs for my countries. Dozens of air units are deployed and have negative amounts of aircraft fuel. If my actual ordering strategy worked, a significant amount of aircraft fuel would actually be ordered and reordered as I fell below 24 months of stock.

A similar problem occurs with military supplies. Currently these countries have no military supplies:

As you can read in the game news, the amounts of monthly use were recorded far too low in cases when the units had very deep shortages.

as a result, the automatic orders, including immediate orders were small and immediately shipped to these units but could not resolve the shortages.

Now the monthly use is computed correctly and it will result in very large orders.
I have already seen the recomputed use numbers and these are indeed very large. The orders will follow in the next game month in 2 or 3 hours from now.

This was an old error, I hope it is not settled.
