I have complained and perhaps rightfully so. I am currently struggling with trying to figure out why this cash bug is destroying my account. I struggle with performing the menial, yet seemingly pointless tasks that allow me to keep up with the pace of the damage the issue is causing. I haven't done maintenance or growth procedures on my countries for around 2 weeks now. I'm getting pretty tired of logging in just to keep up with that. Perhaps I am bitching too much but ehhhh...

I have done everything there is to do in the game in my past account. I need more. I love this game so much and I can't decide why I continue to hold out hope that the bugs won't get in the way of that.

I'm going to lay out my plans here to entertain myself.

I am likely going to have to return to being an instigator and agitator. I have resisted the urge to become a destructive player, willing to focus more on promoting activity throughout the worlds. I don't think being the old player I was is exactly the most responsible thing I can do. I know it will generate many lulz for players to enjoy in absence of much of anything else going on.

I hoped to build a few peaceful empires and help groom the next generation of active federations. The frustrations of this bug are making that a not so viable option. If constantly chasing this ghost debt mechanism is going to drain me of my creative juices, I will have to go about satisfaction another way.

To put it plain. I am willing to earn my assets back using a moral compass. I can also begin to start regaining my assets by teaching a few players a lesson in building without defenses. That would be mean. I won't be happy if I have to go this route. I really wanted to build my war machine to eventually resume a past conflict with Aries and his coalition of the willing provided his health doesn't interfere. But this cash bug is threatening my building process.

I had a decent stash of 150T $SC in my direct account. At present I am somewhere around 50T with likely around that much debt in my empires to pay off. This is really putting a damper on my ambitions. I hope this bug is genuinely found and fixed so I don't have to become provocative. Normally I would say this would be a bad course of action on my part. But I think it will inevitably get more players active and playing their empires more responsibly.

Its obvious I am going to need a mountain of assets to go about my goals and I would like to do so without dealing with anyone who isn't quite ready adversely. As far as I am concerned there is nothing in the game that interests me other than fighting Aries. I would like to go about this in as humane a fashion as possible. Please can we get a hold on this bug?

How is your cash flow from corps at the moment? I'm sure you had already checked, but there has been frequent dumping of a lot of products on multiple worlds causing loss of revenue due to price drops. Maybe that's it...

@inventor, yes you are right.

@khome, I have thought of this as a culprit. I have not looked into it that deeply, perhaps I am being lazy. Most of my corps are doing fine, I closed many weapons corps to reduce the load. But those mostly exist in my enterprises which aren't really being struck by the bug. It only seems to happen in my empires.

It may also depend on which world to, who knows. Another thing I checked was cash year to date. Even if turning a profit, that revenue doesn't include government purchases. I think my country is still playing catch-up due to some shortages and trying to reach my watermarks.

Troubleshooting. :)

Your not lazy Wendy. Your right on the money (no pun intended). I too have had mt countries in the black and doing well and then after a brief few days absence they are in the red. Not sure why. Nothing that I know I am doing wrong. I am glad to hear from another player having the same issue(s).

1. In automation make sure the "Automatic placing orders for products that your country needs" box is checked.

I've either had my setting changed or I've been having strokes.

2. If you are in shortage in something, immediate order enough to fill the shortage and 4 months above your low water mark.

If you are in shortage the game will throw out immediate orders paying no attention to spending caps each and every month for those particular products. Since these immediate orders for products in shortage do NOT effect your spending limits, everything else will still be purchased making the problem worse
