To whomever is dumping copious amount of product (especially electricity, yum) all you're doing is making a lot of people rich. Those same people think you're a tool for losing so much money while you're at it. But all in all, we thank you.

Thank you! I was just about to say, there are responsible ways and careless ways of trading. Dumping power, HT service, construction etc just craps on the markets.

Wrong! The GM did it. Empire and Enterprise won't be able to make huge cash from now.

That can't be. Could the GM confirm or deny this please?

That's pretty impossible seeing that minutes after I posted this whoever was dumping rescinded their sell orders and products receded into shortage again. I highly doubt the GM's would care enough to manipulate the markets like this. It's a pretty self destructive thing to do considering the GM's actually cash out GC in this game. More product equals more cash equals more GC. Not exactly in the interests of the GM to inflate their costs.

Yeah; I admit I was being a little facetious. :)

I agree that the dumping is disrupting the marketplace especially when it is level 1 or 2 products. While countries that have cash can take advantage of the lower prices, new players who are restricted in corp building are seeing their corp go into the red. That has to be discouraging and certainly not conducive to building the player base.

Well, y'know...there is a solution to the war level issue. FB. I'm not even sure why this is being discussed.

nothing was said about war,but seeing you brought it up.just because i disagree with the war lvls dont mean im a raider/war player/war monger .1st and only war i was involved in( lasted awhile on n off) was against players who raided an active player.

Its alright eraset i apologize for being blunt and rude, i dont really care about war levels all in all i just care really about the reality of this game, as if to say the war level is the only thing we could blame for all our problems. Thats the only point im really trying to get at, that the game is more natural decline that we want to believe, i dont even want to believe it. But its true and hard to deny, as i said even removing war levels at this point still poses to many problems, are best option is to adapt and just move on and show very new players atleast the new game, its not really all that different yes some stuff but the gist of the game still exists. Dident mean to be so personal but i know for a fact this game hasent been increasing the last 8 years, only slowly declining. Were it stops, only God knows really. Its just hard to not have answers for shit like this game. Because i know alot of peoples answers arent always bad but not what we want to read. Especially war game dead just from war levels, when anybody who really played knows that not the entire truth. But i havent been here forever, as i said i came here and the war game was already depleted and war levels were looming in the air, in which i disclaim that could be the major reason for a drown out, war levels never were really popular among players they just were something other players enjoyed because they could utilize it and make empires, and have a good time not paying for war protection.

As for the war levels they have changed some over the years, you use to atleast get alot more money from them also! Simple to also say that i could be the fact they changed war levels, like raiding only 3s or continually leveling up to expand, something that wasent like that before you could keep raiding constant but obviously they limited it, which is apart of the problem of people not enjoying updates but really thats more to this game then just war levels.

As for the dumps aswell, i dont know why anyone would dump them, its unlikely that they are getting remotly better prices then what they paid for it while the demand was so high. I personally do think its GM or something, could be someone with a massive number of contracts but really whats the point they would be losing money from the surplus. Since i noticed its all just things on the direct trade page that keeps getting massive dumps nothing else really. What ever from i do think it is pretty useless and kind of a hassle, just messes with the corporations people own. Though you can make some money of it also lol since it cause price the usually drop by atleast 50% depending on amount dumped.
