Oh wow, perhaps I missed it but is there any reason in particular for this?

In the past months, we have seen a general decline in the market value of corporations and we think it will continue.
This is a long term trend to reduce numbers in Simcountry in general and lifting the value of the simcountry currency a bit.

The 500B is standing there for a long time and it is quite hard to take a corporation public.

so there. It is now a little easier. Not really a major change. The PE ratio requirement of <40 is not changed.

Andy, on Thursday in this thread you said this would be decreased "within an hour or two". I still can't see that it has been implemented.

Can you let us know when we will see the effect of this change?

it happened already.
not within the hour, I had a meeting, but a bit later.

check a state corporation, it shows in a little window if the corporation can go public.
It used to say value <400B now it is <300B.

let me know please, if you have a difficulty finding it.

1. Does this change only apply to state corporations, or also to enterprise-owned private corporations?

2. Do you mean >500B and now >400B?

3. Will this change also be applied to the Corporations > Manage > Public Offerings page?

4. Alexandria Oil (Commonwealth of Kahveh on White Giant) is worth 419B SC$ with P/E of 30.3 and the message on its page is still that it needs to be worth >500B. I've checked a few more that should be able to go public under the new rules and they can't.

Many thanks for your quick responses so far.

Thanks for alerting me.

My bad.
It was done on three worlds.
It is now done on all worlds and I checked your corporation, it can go public now.
Market value needs to be >400B

The same applies for enterprise owned corporations.
