Speaking of weird changes; seems to me that unwanted corps are being automatically build in all my countries. Now, I know what you're all thinking "make sure you adjust your auto settings to not build corps or any other auto feature that would result in building more coprs".

They all were switched off. However, far too many of my C3s are building up worthless corps that are all just causing massive damage because of the silly, punitive "riot" bs. No, don't engage in the "merits of riots in C3s" debate. I already know it's stupid, I'm not being convinced otherwise. Moving on to my main point; If I don't want to have corps build automatically, and my country is set to not have them built automatically.... well... they shouldn't be. Right?

Yup!!! Good one Khome!! practical read my mind!!! They are to help debt, yet when they get unemployment problems/are just unproductive like weapons for profit; its actually weights heavily in the direction its essentailly trying to weight against. Cost money, forces upgrades for something not even properly vectored with employees/strategies even type of corporation, like strategic! Plus you have to wait to close the pieces of camel shit, not fun :( really sometimes throws off balance, and i agree that if you dont want corps, shouldent be! suggest working on some more features that weigh in balance good employment vs forcing debt inducing corperations that arent guaranteed help.

I hope you atleast consider this also Andy, i dont like to seem demanding like i want things or pompous ass typing around. But i have appreciated the work recently, and only pray for the game to get be

I've had this problem too. (and am still suffering the consequences!)

It seemed to stop after my employment level rose above about 80%, but was *very* unwelcome at the time...

Perhaps a simple pop-up message warning/advising that there aren't enough corps (and stating how to build them) would be more helpful for new players.

We have that in the news stream, but it can still happen without us wanting them built.

It happened when employment went down.
the world has shortages like we have not seen for a long time.

We have reduced the "eagerness" to build corporations.

It may happen however if your employment goes under 70%

Right, but there is an option in automation to not build corps automatically. Yet, corps are still being built automatically, despite whatever employment levels are. I don't want the game to determine when and what I should build; that should be up to me.

You have this now?
can you give me the name of the world, and country?

Normally it does not happen and you can turn it off
except in conditions when the country can bankrupt, and low game levels.
This was always in place.

I would like to check what happens in that country.

The Pinktator Memorial on LU.

15T in cash, no debt, checked off, built corps by itself.

The country did not build any corporations in the last three days.
check the graph showing the number of corporations.
before it might have.

Employment is 70% which is far too low and considered a third world country.
If it goes under 70%, the procedure will kick in again like it did in the past 5 real years or longer.

Also, as far as you can look back, your newspaper is showing a message about high unemployment and also shortages.

These messages advise you to build corporations and increase employment.

Sheepman,

No name of country or world to look into?
"Some of my countries"?
you should probably improve them yourself anstead of having a "save the country" procedure kick in.

before you specify the name of the countries, check if anything was built in the last days and check your employment.

If employment is under 70% or corporation average hiring is under 80%

Yeah, but the point of "not building corps automatically" is the point of that option. Even if at 30% employment, the option should remain for me to decide, not the game. I have my plans and reasons why. If I don't want automatic corp building, which only causes more havoc, I shouldn't be forced into it.

Point is bois, before conclusions im just typing, you wrote something shouldent happen are inisisting us as players figure out something to deal with an age old problem, its not anything need to be worried about.

Andy.

My people are lazy.

As long as the country produces a profit, has no debt, and has 15 trillion in cash reserves I doubt it has any chance of going bankrupt.

Countries that are in bad conditions with very high unemployment and bad education balance are being helped by an automatic procedure.

This is an old and great feature that has saved many players and prevented their countries from going under.

To help new players even more, we are planning additions to these support functions to make them more efficient in doing so.

Several players here may think that this function is obsolete, but as some players said here on the forum:

If some of these experienced players who know a lot about the game think something should happen, it is no reason to do so as many others do not want it their way.

So we are very careful with the war functionality and we know that what is said here is frequently what a specific player want for themselves and do not care much about others.
we know this and we take our decisions accordingly.

The same with this automatic help functions

You keep typing that, yet all you people do is remove what i have written. That is fine.

No more names, since you cant handle it like man (sticks and stone may break my bones, but words will never hurt me!!) though theses day, words leave psychological wounds that never heal, so i guess its just a game of who you offend which i dont care if i win or lose. Point is TTTHREE

TTTHREE, HAD OVER 80 employment and countinued to build corperations after days of filling my queue full, only to have crap coperations built since you can only set up 3 corpeartions to build every month for 3 months, since max is 10 and for 3 a month is 9. Noted that still corperations of the type that took all the workers i had, and left tones of low level workers. Delete this now. As i proved in the last post you people deleted and altered that your last response andy, dident contain truth. My employment and production both exceeded 70 and 80, and still

"To help new players even more, we are planning additions to these support functions to make them more efficient in doing so. "

Ill write it again even if its a moon Frisbee, make sure the corperations are attuned to build based on country worker levels!! that will be a key as i wrote before my country TTTHREE had no real bad level, still made corperations which i didnet like but ill live, though the index dident say my employment is bad when the country is 100m+ population bad employment might only be 5% unemployed workers so to say not actually employed say like 88 but there still can be a few million workers employed, in which i actually believe something more kicked in, including the money dropped under -1T in my countrys which could have caused it :/ :( so thats all i write, it took some good workers i need and couldent close them right away, it wasent the end
